Is anyone playing?

I log in for my daily reward and immediately shut down the app. I'm not even sure I remember the details on how to play. Is anyone actually playing?

  • My gf showed me this game about 3 weeks ago and it's now the only mobile game I play. Idk why but I find it insanely addictive lol. So yes, I play it regularly every day. Although it will be way more fun when live-action PVP is available
  • I play a little each day. Mainly trying to complete all the objectives. I've got like 10 or so left. Mostly the lose creatures ones and the impossible speed rounds.

I only log in for the daily reward. There has been nothing left to interest me in terms of game play for weeks.
  • I play quite a lot, but that's because I'm still trying to build my deck. Maybe I haven't been playing long enough to get bored yet. It would be nice to have a bit more variety, but I'm pretty good at 'mundane' and 'monotonous' games icon_e_smile.gif I've been playing Puzzle Quest games for years, and I don't think I'll ever get truly bored of them.
  • I still play but not too much since I stopped getting daily rewards.
Everyone else in my Magic playgroup and in my MPQ Alliance all gave up on it :/

I play MPQ but don't particularly like Superhero comics / movies. It's just a fun game with great dynamics.
On the other hand, I have been playing Magic since 1995 and was super psyched for MtGPQ.
There's a pretty big crossover between Magic and MPQ players so I think a lot of people had high standards and were really looking forward to it...and were let down. I'm sure people will come back once the events and the bugs get figured out.
I'm looking forward to the updates and think the game has a lot of potential.
I keep thinking of cards and effects they could make in the future and I think they have lots of different ways they could go.
Dual color Planeswalkers alone will be amazing!
  • I still play a bit, I think it depends on what kind of enjoyment you get. I know not everyone likes trying to figure out decks or exploring in depth all the different deck building/combos, etc. I just finished levelling Chandra, and with her I have a few different deck ideas I'd like to try out, of course, still need many cards too!
  • Yea I thought up a new deck that I wanted to try but I'm missing one rare to do it lol.

    Oh well.

Back to boring ol Jace/Gideon stomp.

I play when I'm bored, maybe a few games a day. I guess I should go do those objectives, I've forgotten about them.
  • I hadn't thought about trying to clear up objectives from the story missions. Maybe I'll try that occasionally, but I don't think Gideon is great to clear all of them and I don't like the idea of spending my hoarded runes to level existing Planewalkers. There will be better ones available at some point and I want to be able to powerlevel them when I get access to them.

Still, y'all gave me something to think about.

I haven't played the game in weeks.

Lack of content and above all lack of actual options when it comes to deck-building killed my interest rather fast.

If you use Chandra on those, she can destroy her own creatures with Scorching Strike level 2, or using Lightning Javelin or Ravaging Blaze Spell cards.
  • I'm on day 29 and still playing, barely. Lol. Really looking forward to the update.

I think I missed a log in at some point this month and I'm incredibly frustrated with myself. I log in for rewards, but otherwise I barely touch it at all.

I'm still playing, trying to keep my Rank 5 in my current bracket. I'm not a White fan, but I'm finding Gideon fun to play, if I keep him at level 8, with good cards in the deck (First strike critter with vigilance, LifeLink critter, and free 4/4 angels with Supports). Good times icon_e_smile.gif
  • It's nice mindless stuff. I am seeing how high I can push maximum streaks.
