Head is spinning!! What to do??

Word is that characters can be pulled apart to harvest (like the Borg?!?!) parts/covers.

My Ares is at level 65 and fully covered with 40,000ish Iso required to level 94 - I have in 18 hours pulled 3 covers and the next PVP reward will be another Ares...

I have 1 spare roster slot... Should I build a new Ares and the pull him apart when I get him to level 94...

My goal ATM is to get my 3*s up there with a number of fully covered waiting for Iso to level them up (Torch, IF, IM40, Myst, Hood, Daken, Storm the list goes on..)

I've championed 2* Storn, Thor and Magneto... And only have GRBW & BP at full covers and levels... So focussing on 2* champions seems my way to go

Don't bother with duplicates, just champion your ares. It'll get you free 3* covers, make him much stronger in the meantime (because his scaling is bonkers as it is), and provide you with decent amounts of net iso.

If you don't think you'll have the iso in time, then to answer you specifically you can't deconstruct your 2* characters in the way you are assuming.
By the point of it, only sell the covers if they will expire within the day, and work with whatcha got. Don't rush, keep a healthy stockpile.

You have 12-ish days then to collect your missing 40k iso. That's more than enough. Do not build an Ares in your spare slot, you do not have any guarantees that CS will agree to manually pull it apart for you. And you'll be wasting time arguing with them over email.

It doesn't have to be championed today, just before the first cover expires. There's no rush.

Pretty sure they are making exceptions for dupes you have had rosters long before championing, but i doubt making dupes now and then asking will fly. It is easy enough to check the date the dupe was made for them.

It'd be so great if there was something like a community manager who could confirm exactly what the policy is, so we could properly decide what to do with all these covers before they expire, rather than have to guess or play customer service roulette and hope for the best.

Actually, the Official answer is : it is taken on a case by case basis, that is from Hi-Fi. So not everyone who submits a ticket is going to be happy. It is apparently work intensive.

Like I said, customer service roulette. Great to know that the fetish the devs have with randomization has found its way into customer service as well.

To update .... Have scrimped and ground and have poured every spare pink crystal into Ares

I reviewed my roster and decided to sell Carnage - who I detested anyway - 4 covers and level 100 Got me 8000 ISO

I'm now only 8095 away with 11 days to go!!! 2 days of play should have him levelled up and the 5,000 ISO to champion

Reading above info on CS responses glad I did it this way - phew

Unless you are that one player who happened to have about 3 fully covered 5* duplicates along with about 3 of each 4* and 3* duplicate, then CS has no problem deconstructing your covers! Yes there are players with fully championed 5*'s already!

I made my request on Friday and CS responded they would look into it to see if my roster "qualifies". I am not sure what that means but I have over 8 duplicate 3*'s.
