Is Red Hood *** Roy Harper from DC comics?

I was watching Arrow and it seems like Roy Harper is the Red Hood, but I thought this game was based on marvel characters? Red Hood also appears in the Batman - under the Red Hood. Anyone keen to share more info?

    There is couple characters from DC and Marvel universes that share the same or similar names, but are completely separate characters. I watch the TV show as well and I understand your confusion, because I never heard about The Hood from Marvel before this game. However Roy Harper had couple hero names and neither was The Hood or Red Hood. He gone by names of Speedy, Arsenal and Red Arrow.

    Oh wow, interesting... "enabling him to fly and become invisible while holding his breath" That would of been an interesting black gem power - Red Hood holds breath, turning invisible for 1 turn and avoiding all damage lol. thx for the link.
