Is MMR working in Elite Tourneys?

As the subject implies, can somebody please help to answer if MMR works in Elite Tournaments?

    Apologies for the vague question. I mean does it affect your MMR by winning or losing a match? Where your MMR will lower or get higher within the torunament.

    I would like to think that MMR is ignored and not getting affected here but hopefully someone who has played in the tourney can shed some light.

    Because i would pay for entering if it doesnt affect MMR.

    because I'm still undecided if I should join (didn't play the first two elite tourneys)

    I personally (only anecdotal) think that it does. I tanked hard before I entered the last one, and I fought no teams anywhere near my level until I have played up to about 900 points. I was running a 3x141 team and I only saw at most 3x85 for my first 20-30 fights.

    EDIT: I have no idea if your activity during the Elite tournament affects your future MMR, but I assume it does.

    While I don't have any really truly hard evidence, I'm pretty sure it affects your MMR. I generally try to 'manage' my MMR decently well, but after these elite tourneys, I feel like there is a large-ish MMR bump. I can't imagine why it wouldn't affect it, anyway. It could all just be my imagination, though.
