Downed Characters available for PVP defense?

Sorry if this was covered elsewhere, but I searched and couldn't find an answer...

If I win a PVP match, but one of my chars gets downed, are they still part of my team on defense?

    Yes, your last winning team becomes your defence team, regardless of health.
