Origins chapter One, Part 2 - Guardians of Meletis

First, let me just say how stupid it is to have an objective " Kill 6 or more enemy creatures during a single fight " against an opponent that only has ONE creature in his deck.

Secondly, if you drag the match on long enough the cpu will refuse to play anything else. It will just sit there with 6 cards in his hand, all maxed out on mana yet doesn't play a single one of them. This would be the actual bug.

Maybe it does have more creatures, which would add a second bug where it will only play the one creature and none of the others. Every time I try to play this match, it will only play the one creature and for the rest it will play support cards, until the bug activates, then it will play nothing else.

My guess would be that you were unfortunate enough to end up in a situation where the AI had only spell cards in hand but no creatures to use them on.

No, this opponent has a deck of 1 creature and 9 support cards.

    No spells.

Actually no, there is one spell in Guardians of Meletis deck : Helm of the gods (a spell that required 3 support on the field to be cast, and that give +3/+3 haste). I know for a fact that this spell is in this deck, since i had to loose once against a 22/22 haste creature trying to do this achievement.

So indeed, if you are unlucky and the IA draw 6 Helm of the gods, the IA cannot draw anymore, and will have no creature to cast the spell on... and then will be stuck.
  • Ya I just spent 30 mins on that objective, what a pain! Use Lilianna in this situation as her ability and cards destroy cards in the opponents hand in case it gets locked up like that.
  • There must be a glitch in my game, because 4-5 times I have played against Guardians of Meletis and have killed 6+ creatures, it never once counted towards killing them. Now I have destroyed them with spells, used my defender, used a death touch/reach. The only thing I haven't tried is a creature with Berserk to see if it'll count. Any suggestions on what to do about completing this seemingly Impossible mission?

Kill your own creatures (or let the AI do so). There's been various issues with challenges where the words don't match the coding - Destroy and sacrifice are often the wrong way around. It's very annoying. Keep a check on the quest's progress using the pause button, and check whose creatures are actually triggering the count.

Nissa's 1st heroic is horrendous for this where you have to kill 10 gaia's revenge, instead of the intended lose 10 of your own creatures.
