Command points grinding

Is it a deliberate policy to make the CP rewards for completing a node super low?
2nd day in a row where I ground the final node to 1 pt and NOT get a CP... It's not amusing to grind a node with boosted Juggs and Ares for 20 ISOs.
In fact, what is the deal with "drop rates" for nodes? I really do not see the value of making players grind a node for more than 5 or 6 times to get all rewards.
20 ISOs? pfft. keep it.
