Epilogue

We have a Prologue for newbie single player content - why not an Epilogue for end game single player content?

It could be any number or combination of things - any of which would be welcomed....

- Prologue style story with repeatable quests that reward more than 20 ISO.
- Roster scaled nodes that are HARD....like DDQ4 survival wave node hard, with better rewards.
- "Survivor" mode....endless wave of enemies of all different types with a leaderboard ranking by most waves completed.
- Puzzle Challenge....use strategy/cascades to accomplish a goal in a designated number of moves (not luck based).
- Loaner Character challenges....tough matches similar to DDQ4 but loaner characters of a set level/cover are given.
- Daily/Weekly challenges...all of the above reset at regular intervals, or are just repeatable without an exhaustible bank of rewards.

Was just thinking it would be nice to have some content that was not directly competitive like PvE and PvP where you could play on your own time, and still earn rewards and progress through the game.

    Always wanted something like this
  • Been wanting this for a long time.

I think the reasons why we're unlikely to see this, especially with the title 'epilogue' include the following:
    - Creating an epilogue gives people who can clear it an excuse to stop playing.
    - The final prologue mission against lvl 120 Ragnarok was probably originally meant to serve this purpose and has since been rendered redundant due to
    - Power creep. They keep people playing by continuously moving the goal posts. If they locked down an end game there is no motivation for people to continue collecting 5*s once they've cleared it with their 4*s (or maybe even maxed 3*s).

To expand on your Survivor mode, maybe it could be turned into a PvE event like the Gauntlet event. It could go a few different ways, but here are some thoughts.
    • Could have three nodes, where the first limits you to 2* characters, second 3*, and third all characters. You get rewards based on how many waves you cleared. Kind of similar to the second Deadpool Daily node. Seems short, so would probably be a 3 day event.
    • Longer event that has multiple nodes and works more like the Gauntlet. The first part can probably be completed with a good 2* roster, the second with a good 3* roster and final part with a decent 4* roster. The level of baddies would gradually go up, similar to the Gauntlet. Each part has 10 nodes or so, where the level creeps up a bit but more likely adds more waves until the last node has something like 5 waves.
