Here is the XP needed to reach a level up to 15 and the total XP needed to reach that level. With the 2nd skill unlocking at Level 14, it's an important break point.

Edit: Thanks to everyone for the help!

    Here is where I started keeping track, if you want to have some more datapoints.

    740 xp to go 20->21
    770 xp to go 21->22
    805 xp to go 22->23
    840 xp to go 23->24
    870 xp to go 24->25

  • I'd like to help, how do I see how much exp is needed for each level? Everytime I add some exp I'm never able to just level up and start the new level at 0%, I always put a little bit of exp in the new level too, how can I avoid it so that I can read the exact number of exp needed?

    @EDIT: Welp.. Exp needed to level from 34 to 35 about 1175

    If you quickly tap the button it increments it by a smaller amount depending on level, when I started noticing it was 100 xp minimum per tap, so I tap it 100 at a time until I have less than 100 needed (for our example let us assume we need 55 xp to level up the character) then when I tap it again I add 45 (the amount left over from the 100 I spent) to what is now needed to level again.

    Ok, here are some more results:

    905 xp to go 25->26
    935 xp to go 26->27
    970 xp to go 27->28
    1000 xp to go 28->29
    1035 xp to go 29->30
    1065 xp to go 30->31
    1095 xp to go 31->32
    1130 xp to go 32->33
    1160 xp to go 33->34
    1190 xp to go 34->35
    1225 xp to go 35->36
    1255 xp to go 36->37
    1285 xp to go 37->38
    1320 xp to go 38->39
    1350 xp to go 39->40
    1380 xp to go 40->41
    1410 xp to go 41->42
    1445 xp to go 42->43
    1475 xp to go 43->44
    1505 xp to go 44->45
    1535 xp to go 45->46
    1565 xp to go 46->47
    1595 xp to go 47->48

    I finished the story mode so the last couple are going to take a while at 50 xp a battle plus daily login bonus. Once I finish I'll keep track of my next one to fill in the gaps.
  • I plugged in all of the provided details into a spreadsheet and by graphing these details I guess-timated the missing details. I won't post these details for confusion sake, but it looks like it should take a total of 43,500-43,550 XP to take a Plainswalker from level 1 to 50.

    Good to know if you want to bank XP for any future release of new PWs!
  • Thanks for the tip majincob, I'll try it next time!

    That's some really good info to know, thanks for sharing!
  • Oh man that is like 600 cards that you're giving up...definitely not worth it.

    Until they fix the "duplicates are just a waste of your currency" thing, it's not really a waste. I opened a lot of packs with runes and you mostly get garbage and a ton of duplicates.

    Shrug. Open more packs.

    What are you going to do with all your planeswalker levels, anyway?

    Unless they implement a better matchmaking system into the game Quickmatch will eventually devolve into a bunch of level 10 or less planeswalkers with a deck full of rare cards curb stomping a bunch of new players who don't know any better. Despite having an amazing deck with my level 50 Nissa, I'd much rather play my level 8 Gideon where I can usually win the game in ~6-8 turns. Also, my level 50 Nissa will only ever get a +50 exp reward since she is unable to fight higher level opponents. With a level 8 Gideon I regularly receive rewards from 100-250. I currently have 12k exp banked since I don't really care about new cards and there's literally no reason to level in this game (provided you're able to beat story mode).
  • You can beat story mode with that level 8 gideon (swapped to a level 10? liliana for a few that have lots of creature kill).

    Oops.

    Stop giving away my secrets and let me enjoy my stomp in peace.
