Are the leader boards just for show or are there rewards for being at the top?

    No one knows. It appears just for show for now as no one has announced any prizes for anything.

    Been playing for about a week now and managed to stay at the top but no rewards as of date. Sometimes I do receive a multiplier for rewards (2 to 5 times), but it seems pretty random. They have not reset, and loses don't affect your ranking. Leader boards are solely about life management. If you do not have any interaction you will have to play religiously to catch up. On the flip side if you have a way to deal with creatures, stay under maximum hand size you will win 90% of the time at full health.
