Deadpool daily - 3* survival mode damage carryout

I have noticed several times that when finishing a goon wave of Deadpool top survival node (the one that awards a 3* cover), it seems that some damage or effect is passed weirdly to next wave. I mostly notice it when Captain marvel is in the 2nd wave, as Energy Absortion is activated; moreover, it gets activated when she is not even the front starting carácter!
