    My favourite Team for sub 2 is Sam Wilson (Falcon), Human Torch (Classic) and Rocket & Groot. Falcons blue takes away these nasty Strike and Countdown tiles and his yellow strengthens Groots Strike tiles and Torchs Attack tiles. Torchs boosted red and green are responsible for doing huge damage.

    I tried including Torch but found his green requirements just were too troublesome with Baby Daken and he was requiring too many health packs to enjoy. So I mainly stuck with Patch, Groot and Magneto.

    Probably going to quite soft on this last Sub though as the leaders are pulling away and I don't need the 3* on offer.

    I'm giving most of this sub a miss I think. Level 211 carnage, muscle and lieutenant is not my idea of a fun match.

    Not even sure I can be bothered trying for the cp on the star lord essential either as that's carnage + 2 muscles.

    A side effect of the drop in muscle ap generation and ability cost is that a couple of enemy yellow matches means they will just spam threaten tiles, greatly increasing the chances that one will resolve.

    What teams have you used for "The Odd Trio"(2nd to last node) ? I've wiped twice with my go-to teams for this whole run. Without Doc Ock to battle Carnage, it's a tough one, and She Hulk doesn't seem to convert enough tiles with her blue, Falcon's blue can't keep up with the tile generation either.

    How many points is sub 3 worth, less than 6k from the LT, want to be as close as possible before the sub starts.

    yep - this tells me I really need to grind on sub 2 so minimal is left for 3 lol. and why the heck is Cyclops in sub 2?

    I've got it at 5000 even, including the last non-repeatable node, for one pass. Though that's me playing and coming back to it over a couple of hours this morning, so individual nodes might have increased since it started 5 hours ago.

    ah, I stopped reading the dialogue long ago. I just know that I saw that and I thought, great! happy to get my LT and be done.

    I got through it in my first pass with maxed Punisher, CMags, and Groot. Targeted Doc Ock first to keep him from going off on Carnage's tiles with his powers, then Venom (the Snare is too dangerous, even if he doesn't get the Devour off, with Carnage there) then took down Cletus. Used Punisher's Retribution to down them that much quicker once they each got the health done to 40%.

    It was costly though. CMags was down by the end of it, and Punisher not much better. My "tank", Groot barely got touched.

    I may try Patch next time, and She-Hulk, to see if it goes any better.

    They've got to be kidding me with this node. How can anyone be expected to grind this node to get the CP?

    Ugh, I'm within striking distance (i.e. 8000 points) of the LT even after I decided to play this PVE casually, so now I'm contemplating grinding the third sub now (in fact, maybe they lowered the progression to entice us into playing more / burning through health packs).

    My Shulkie is only 2/3/5 and so her Settlement isn't useful against Carnage. Am I just going to have boost like crazy to get past the Carnage nodes, or settle on grinding all the other nodes to dust? Any other suggestions with my roster (in sig)?

    Venom Heroic can bite me. Odd Trio is stupid hard. I've never written this before but tinykitty the rest of this event.

    If you still have her, Black Widow (modern, that's the 1-star), her stun is incredibly useful vs Carnage. I used Prof X and Patch/R&G with her.

    I got through first try with cmags, patch, falcon. Boost all colors and get shielded asap (cmags or falcon) to stop the bleeding from carnage. Take him out first so he doesn't get to razor your team. Keep 5 blue all the time to help whittle away the bad stuff.

    Try to shield twice, then go patch green. You'll start cleaning them up here.
