Simulator prizes changed?

Simulator has tokens, Nefarious Foes has covers.0

You're right. Thanks dude.0

The jump from 25000 to 50000 with no reward is stupid.
Why?
Because people don't like rewards? Put a poll up, I want to see who picks 'no I don't like to be rewarded'.
50k is a wolvey patch.0 -

I've been grinding for hours to win some decent prizes on simulator. I checked just now and the prizes up for grabs are now just recruit tokens. Please tell me am I going mad, because I thought I checked yesterday and they had loads of wolverine covers as prizes?
Thanks!
The wolverine prizes are in the main event. Your score in each sub-event is added to the main event total.
There are also position prizes & progression prizes listed on the same reward screen for the main event. There are no progression prizes for sub-events.0 -
While we are at this, what happened to the wonderful 4000 ISO in the sub event?
The first go through that was such a great thing the devs did.
Now it's only 1000.
Just stinks to set a precedent and then yank it away.0 -

If I had to guess I tould imagine it has to do with this quote from the patch notes:
- Altered scaling slightly for some missions in Simulator Round 1 sub-event, which will also ripple forward into future Simulator Rounds
I imagine they made the scaling a LITTLE smaller and as such thought more people would get to the big ISO payout. Or they just saw more people than they wanted getting that payout. So they lowered the payout. Problem solved? will agree that it is a bit unsatisfying.0 -
I actually saw the change in the "Big ISO" prize to be more of a "you get it if you jump in early" - people that would purposefully hold off until later in a tournament to try and game themselves an easier bracket would end up losing out on that huge chunk of extra ISO.0

But at least we still have the picture of the big pile of ISO. O,O0

1000 iso is ridiculous given that it's still the ONLY prize for that mission. It's really no more valuable than the prizes for any other mission now, just you get it in one go instead of having to repeat the mission - except you will repeat the mission anyway even for just 20 iso rewards because it's the highest ranking point mission and the subevent is open for over 2 days.
It's really annoying that the devs have done that. Spoiled one of the more interesting and special bits of the event.0 -

People will complain about anything!
1000 iso rewards? Wahhhhhhh...
Get a grip0 -
The big iso mission is also worth a ton of points and can save you a lot of time as you only have to grind that one instead of doing some of the rather difficult mission instead. This time around I'd argue that mission is easier than most given you've 2 trivial opponents and the Pyro never uses Flamethrower while Wolverine is alive (they save it for X-Force instead).0

It seems like a lot of that extra ISO got shipped out to PvP. I just picked up 500 ISO for getting to 50 points in the Blind Justice tourney. I'm not sure now whether the Nefarious tourney had the same sorts of rewards.0

They've been reshuffling the progression rewards for a while. I think they're noticing that nobody is actually getting anywhere close to 1000 so the lower prizes are now better compared to before.0 -

Yeah. Getting to just 300 points in Blind Justice will get you 750 ISO, a +3 Rainbow Stockpile, 1 Standard Token and 1 Event Token - which I'd say is a pretty good haul. Depending on your bracket, you could easily end up in the 76-150 prize division, which would be 2 Moonstone covers, 50 HP and another 250 ISO. Plus whatever ISO you earn from your matches.0 -
