Going back to your place on the leaderboard..was that 11k enough for a top 2 finish in that sub? Basically, to get a top2 position in shorter events, we would have to be at least top 3 at the end of the 1st day and at most 500 points behind the 2nd place. There's a bit more leeway for longer events.

I ended the 2nd sub with about 17k and barely made t10 for the sub. Unless I do really badly in the last sub, I'm pretty golden for t10 overall, but I don't think I can do t2. I'm suffering in the 2nd to last sub right now, particularly the Cho essential. They don't match the blue so I can never heal him... It doesn't help that my slice end times are very close for Fist PvP and PvE so my health packs are in danger.

I don't really remember that Magneto node, but I know I'm not looking forward to it.

I had pretty good luck with IF/3 Cyclops/Doom: focus on Hood first while denying red and blue (which not only keeps Mags from getting that AP but also minimizes the damage caused by Magnetized Projectiles -- my IF took an MP straight to the crotch, painful but survivable, with ~2K health left), then yellow and black. Purple / green if no other matches are available. Fire Cyclops's big damage dealing abilities when you can, using IF's purple or Doom's blue when you can to charge Full Blast. Or, if you have enough trap tiles, Diabolical Plot to take large chunks out of the enemy's life.

Business Partners is scaled at 348 for me. icon_e_confused.gif I beat it w/ xf, lcap, obw combo. Definitely focus on Hood first, because Cmag's health is much higher. I tried to use obw to steal back aps. The node is definitely hard. Not looking forward to grinding it.

Business Partners is probably one of the most notorious nodes in MPQ. If you have a reasonably well developed roster, what seems to work best is taking someone along who is less AP dependent to down Hood, whilst keeping Mags away from blue and red. The successful teams usually involve at least one of the following: Iron Fist (attack tile non-AP dependent), Daken (strike tiles non-AP dependent), Wolverine (relatively cheap green to spam strikes), Scarlet Witch (generate your own purple, and it doesn't matter if Hood steals it, since neither he nor Mags can use it anyway), etc etc. Blade sort of fits in this category, but it's risky leaving a lot of red on the board, since a Polarising Force from Mags can trigger a bad cascade which will ruin you. I used JG/HB/SW - HB competes for Mags' attacking colours, and Jean usually gets a couple of Mind over Matters going with SW feeding her (plus you can 5 turn stun someone if things aren't going so well).

I beat Business Partners with Patch, Iron Fist, and Scarlet Witch. Unless you're really lucky, you're probably going to eat some skills - Fist ate one Magnetized Projectiles and went boom, but I had Hood down low enough that I was able to kill him and finish off Magneto. The node was level 348 for me... grinding this CP out may be one of the worst things in MPQ ever.

    grocket and patch.
first grocket blue, then patch green, after that patches red does almost 7k damage.
    3rd is daken/torch

This is the first time I'm seeing lvl 395 in a pve node outside of the gaunlet too. Strange that the next highest node is lvl 230. Normally they cluster together with the highest being 295. Luckily, I already gotten my legendary token and the commander points, so I'm not even going to bother with it.

Nice. That reassures me, at least I know using other teams would be possible at that high level too. It's useful to know for the end of event grind. And the best thing is: there's no CP to get in this node icon_e_smile.gif

Whoa, I didn't even notice there was no CP. I assumed that since the Who node was guaranteed, that it was just a free extra one. Nice!

Also, I beat Business Partners again on clear 2 with Groot, Cap, 3Cyc. Cyclops died to repeated skills due to him tanking everything for whatever reason, but he got a bunch of skills off first, so I won without too much hassle after that. It still sucks that it's almost a guaranteed health pack per run though. The node went up to 371, but after I died with the Patch IF SW team, it went back down to 348.

After 1 full cleared, the node jumped 25 levels. icon_redface.gificon_cry.gificon_eek.gif

Beat it w/ Patch, Laken, Loki. Really, really have to be patient. As soon as you manage to get 9 gr and 11 bk aps, do the patch gr/ Loki bk combo on Hood. I've had patch survive a cmag blue b/c of trickery.

If the node scaling is too high, you could try throwing suicide teams at it and see if the scaling jump will roll back. I toss my 1/2 star.png teams and occasionally it will work after a few tries.

After failing like 4 times with various teams. I just used whoever was powered up. And surprisingly I Won. I used 3* Storm, RGroot and 3* Spiderman. Then used boost all AP and boost black green. Which started me at 4 black AP. Then matched every black i could to trigger Hailstorm for about 1700 damage each turn. Or RGroot Green Blammo.
