lending characters

I seem to remember sending whole characters (not just team up cards) to alliance members, but I am unable to find the request option now. Anyone able to help?

    That was long ago in a galaxy far far away.. when you sent a char out on "patrol" , which was a team up.. the character was un-usable for x amount of time.. Thankfully that is no longer the case. You didn't get to actually send the whole character though..

    Right and then they modified the system so that you could send the team up but still use your character. I remember sending a character within the last couple of weeks, anyone know when this changed?

    R72, 03/09/2015, so about 9 months now.
