Cleared the first 4 rounds on mobile with lvl 94 Cyke and StormNeto. Treated it just like DPD.
StormNeto/Cyke make waves a breeze. Stun, Mags purple+Cyke's yellow, Use Mag's red and Cyke's black, repeat repeat repeat.
On steam it was kind of a struggle, since I don't have a lot of synergy in my roster. Went with Rags/KK.
On BOTH platforms, Galactus is kicking my ****.
EDIT: Nevermind. I just beat it on Steam, at least. Used Daredevil and MNMags and boosted red ap+the 20% damage all the way.
Guess I just had to come here and complain.0 -
I don't understand all of the abbreviations for characters or teams. Can someone direct me to an understanding?0
-
Any particular strategies for the Hulks (at 395) without a decent Switch?0
-
Finally beat the 395 Hulks with XForce Wolverine, Scarlet Witch, & Steve Rogers Cap. Boosted Purple & Blue and managed to keep purple and blue rolling throughout - hardly got touched, the Hulks didn't get a single ability off.
Kind of annoying I didn't think of that the first 8 times I got my **** handed to me!0 -

Most of the time, I've found OBW and 3*Cyclops works well against Galactus. Focus on blue and purple to start, stealing AP and delaying the CD tiles until you have enough of Cyke's colors to blast him. Helps to have Cyke at 5/3/5.1

I just finished farming the CP from that nose and was coming here to post exactly that. Even the loaner Cho's green is useful for when Galactus' tiles cluster together. Great advice, Sykosonik0 -
Had all sorts of issues with om-nom-thon. None of the usual suspects as mentioned above could beat it (at lvl 165). Randomly tried KK and Hood and it worked. Just throwing another team out there.0

How do you use KK and Hood properly?0

what levels are your enemies in that first node?
Here's the scaling I had to deal with. My roster tops out at level 270 (a one-cover ) with my highest level *usable* character being a level 220 :
Definitely Not In Kansas: Level 122-138
H.A.M.M.E.R. On Trial: Level 185-186
Look-Alike Contest: Level 395
Righteous Rivalry: Level 190-191
Om-nom-athon: Level 165
I'm level 345-347.
I sold Silver a Surfer.
Highest character I have is 136....

Please give me some advice. I'm stuck in the final node with Galactus. I have all 2* char's except Magneto. What pairs might work in this case and what boosts (damage/AP) to use?0

I'd suggest you use the loaner Cho, 2* Black Widow and the biggest damage dealer you have (for me, it was 3* Cyclops, but your results may vary). If Widow tanks black for the team, that's good for you, but not essential. Boost blue/purple +2 for Widow. Otherwise, boost the color for your most damaging ability (or abilities) and/or include some board shake as a teamup. Cho's green can give you targeted special tile removal, so remember that unless you need green for someone with more damage output. Prioritize blue, then removing countdowns and then your most damaging ability's color. Once Galactus has his special go off, Widow's purple should net you a lot of AP to speed up your damage, but she's fragile, so it's a double-edged sword.
Good luck.0 -
Thank you very much! I'll try my best.
And by the way, despite the fact that 4* Cho, I think hard about the feasibility of obtaining his cover.0 -

In case your alliance mates can supply you with Patch TU (berserker rage at max level and 5 covers) - a team with OBW and Juggs can work just fine. Just some lucky board - and you'll make it with no problems. Focus on blue and TU tiles, once BR is fired try matching green or any covers that OBW tanks.0 -
Loaner Hulk, CMags (4/5/4), MoStorm (5/3/5). Beat Galactus first try, though both Mags & Storm were well below half health. I was pleasantly surprised. I was able to get 8 red by turn 3, I think, and that started the board moving. It never really stopped after that. Galactus had about 17-20 AP when I finished him off with two turns of Hailstorm damage.
How did I not know how well Mags & Storm play together? I kept running Mags with Punisher to get the green/black coverage in past events, but just tried Storm with him for the first time this past week. Way better.0 -
1) my team for the hulks was Steve Rogers, Kamala Khan, 3* Cyclops
Boost and build up blue AP asap to have multiple stuns going at a time then just roll with it. Barely take damage, and when you do kk heals it. Cyc yellow to make red for cap, then his black does decent damage. Kk for heal, make green, damage from green. Steve shield after shield after shield. And every time he fires one kk heals.
2) I have done the galactus mission 10 times. 1st reward was 250 ISO. Each of the 9 otter attempts net me 20 ISO each.
Can you actually win another reward? I would like those command points....0 -

You can get them all but you only have a 50%/50% chance to not get 20 ISO after your first victory. So you have just really bad luck.0
