Well i must say, for the first time in over a month i am finally having fun with this game. I have had my complaints about this game and rightly so as it seemed to be going downhill fast, but whatever the dev's pulled from their collective behinds, it worked. Someone on here pointed out that its not all about finishing 1st and even if you don't get that elusive cover your after, you are still getting rewards on the way up, be it HP or iso or that 16th Captain America cover. I used to play this trying to finish 1st in everything but not having a roster that's even close to good enough. So now this week with all the tournaments going on, i started to enter them one at a time, and some a few hours before they end, and what happens? not only do i get more rewards for waiting that little bit longer, but i also have a ton more fun.

Don't get me wrong, i would still like to finish 1st all the time, but it's not the end of the world. I know if i keep plugging away i will eventually get that roster i want. It may take a couple months before i am truly competitive but so what, i aint going anywhere, unless i die from an anger overdose for getting a 17th Captain America cover. For now though it's great to be having fun again with this game and to that i must owe a big thank you to the dev's and to some of the forum goers and their wise words.

Now i must be excused as that 18th Captain America cover is calling me.

EDIT: oooh my 200th post, surely i get a reward? a cookie perhaps?

In both rounds, I've been having a blast, until the lvl 140+ Daken "wall" drops...

As may have been mentioned once or twice on these forums , that scaling is such a kick in the nuts... even something where a player could, as many times as they like, knock ten levels off the enemy team at the cost of a -400 reward modifier, so I could keep playing these fun missions, would be welcome (or something, not sure what the right difficulty/reward penalty scaling would be)

I'm enjoying it. I am feeling like the only person in my brackets that doesn't have a C.Mags (I know that's not the case). I can only imagine the sadistic glee I'd be having if I had a 100+ C.Mags though.

Pvp tweaks are starting to feel right, and pve is almost not broken. Communication is good, and new stuff is rolling out fast.

ALL IN THE SAME TIME LAPSE. Wow.

The game is not perfect yet, but starting to look very good again, with much less metagame exploits than before (Thorverine, stokpile, tanking etc are much less effective) - a bit decreasing the power of the strategizing nerds like me and levelling the field with the casuals, but a some extra challenge is welcome.
