Exploit/Cheaters getting caught in Ghost Rider event?

Since the pve event started I have been doing all I can to maximize my points, but the same amount of effort that got me top 10 during the last several new character events has had me fighting to stay in the top 200 during this event. The scores have been insane and I assumed it was just because of a holiday weekend and more people were playing. About half an hour ago I finish a clear and see that I am 178th. I do my DPD and when I finish I look again and I'm 54th! Wth? All of the top ten are different people than the ones leading since the event started. Was there some sort of mass banning? Has anyone else noticed an inexplicable big change in their ranking?

    That's very likely. I seem to remember something similar happening in the last piece of new PvE content (Enemy of the State).

    Scores have been super bizarre. In my 2nd day event, 1 minute into event there were players with over 5k points in my slice. Not even sure how that could be possible.
