I'm liking Professor X, Captain Marvel and Beast a lot. I suppose you could sub in another purple for Professor X though...

only farming cp on this one. px node I'm pretty consistently getting there with px, mystique and quicksilver. chase blue for mystique and to cheapen qs abilities. use qs black to make match-5 to make more blue (assuming px is tanking). rinse, repeat. not as clean and easy as angels, but in a heroic, its something.

At first I was very annoyed with the list of characters for this event but it's been going better than I anticipated. I have been using ProfessorX, QS and IF along with Patch, Beast and Moonstone (yup!) fairly consistently to good results.

For the PX essential, I ran Patch, PX, Thor. My PX is pretty weak, but still can do some damage with 3 . Patch tanks his colours, is fed by PX , and Thor to create the Match 5. And if PX hides, then Patch tanks everything essentially. I quite enjoyed that one.

Man, I'm having a really hard time with the Oscorp: Heroic - City sub on the node with Ares and two goons. The "Rampage!" node with the Command Point reward. Any advice? I just tried the Prof X/Quicksilver/Mystique team and got flattened. Spent all my time denying red/yellow/green tiles from Ares, and meanwhile those silent strike cd tiles from the goons just decimated me.

I had previously tried Iron Fist/Patch/Classic Cyc and won once, died once. My strategy was to focus on making strike tiles to amp up Iron Fist's attack tile. It worked once, but only barely -- I was down to Classic Cyc with, like, 1000 health left.

Has anyone figured out this node? Or is this one that you need to have the 4* characters fully covered and decently leveled to win? My Prof X is fully covered but my Classic Cyc (2/5/3) and X-23 (1/2/1) don't have many covers, so I'm mainly relying on the 3*, who are pretty much fully covered.

Okay, so I ditched Classic Cyc for Capt Marvel and ran with Iron Fist/Patch/Capt Marvel, and that did the trick on the Rampage! node. Maybe I got a little luck, but I managed to win without Ares getting off a single attack and with only two Silent Strike cd tiles going off from the goons. When those cd tiles did go off, they generated red for Capt Marvel, which helped a little. Hopefully that team will help if anyone else has problems -- my Iron Fist is normally lvl 166, so he's pretty powerful with boosts -- level 260. My others are level 170 for Patch (with boost) and lvl 169 for Cap Marvel (with boost). That might affect how viable this team is for other people ... Oh, and Ares and friends were level 227 each.

Hope i don't jinx it.. not sure if it is the boosted, or the reinforcements or what.. but the last heroic was one of the worst ever.. this one.. is such a relaxing event... good core of chars.. easy enough nodes.. cascade makers boosted with a boosted PX.... (if, thor, kk, 2* marvel, etc...)

Hooray for this easy heroic!

wow that's interesting. the last one I ground hard for t10s in the first 2 subs and finished my LT a day early. this one I started the first clear and said F that I'm just grabbing what cp I can grab. my scaling is horrible here with nothing but mediocre stuff and its ares and jugs - no thanks. I thought the roster was much better for the last one.

Guess this goes down to who you enjoy using.. i will admit, the cascade makers w/ PX make me happy because i am lazy, i want them done fast.. last heroic, i stopped at the LT because matches were sooo long!

Happened to me too, ran through them all (at reduced level scaling 33-35) and gained no points.
