    the thing that the CP was messing up thought someone said they were thinking of allowing us to sell covers but it was messing up a new feature they were working on. Talking like that feature

    these story are the new PVEs right its not like we are going to have a new PVE like ultron anytime soon

    also what was the outcome of gaunlet running 24/7 like it was ran that one time along the side of other PVES will that ever happen again

    Yep, that's the one. And yes, the new stories are new PVEs. We don't have any boss battles planned at the moment, although I'm quite sure we'll run more in the future.

    Yep, that's the one. And yes, the new stories are new PVEs. We don't have any boss battles planned at the moment, although I'm quite sure we'll run more in the future.

    Probably not a 24/7 thing, but the response was pretty favorable. It didn't really have a negative effect on the people that play everything and it picked up a bit of engagement on the people that check out after a clear on each sub in a normal PVE event.

    As in the next new feature past Command Points? Possibly December, more likely January due to that whole Thanksgiving/holiday break thing really messing with dev timings. It's a biggie, so we want to make sure we have adequate test time on it before release.

    Next new story past Hearts of Darkness? We'll be announcing that soon. Not too long after this one.



    Can we at least get a hint so we can know to save are unused covers or to sell them for ISO. I'm sitting on 160 covers now just in case.

    Covers that you have in the cache are most definitely going to have expired before the feature comes out, as it's not going to hit in the next 14 days. Tokens are, as always, timeless.

    Ghost Rider sounds cool, but can someone at Demiurge spend a little more time on ability descriptions? The wording for Penance Stare is very confusing. It's a single target ability but it constantly uses "them" making it sound like it's a multi target ability. Easily fixed if it were "Deals x of the enemy's total damage back at the target".

    Ghost Rider looks into his opponent's eyes and forces them to revisit all the pain they've inflicted a thousand times over. Deals damage to the target enemy equal to 50% of the total amount of damage they've dealt so far this mission.
    Level Upgrades
    Level 2: Deals 75% of the enemy's total damage back at them.
    Level 3: Deals 100% of the enemy's total damage back at them.
    Level 4: Deals 150% of the enemy's total damage back at them.
    Level 5: Deals 200% of the enemy's total damage back at them.

    This isn't the only example either. Many characters have confusing descriptions, because what actually happens in game is not what the description states.

    Does seem a little weird that a handful of these characters have been heroes at some point or done heroic things, but murders like Wolverine and Punisher are alright.

    It's all based on the specific incarnation. That's why Black Widow has two Heroes (Modern and Grey Suit) and a Villain (Original). If we ran with a Daredevil (Shadowland), he'd be a Villain. Same as if we did an Ares (Modern), he'd be a Hero.

    You can definitely expect more Villains to be released. Our last was Red Hulk, and Carnage before him. I'd fully expect more in the future. And yes, all the NPC bosses are Villains. Doesn't mean we couldn't do a Hero boss down the line, but the current ones are definitely baddies.

    Didn't say he was the most requested character, but definitely high up on that list. Gambit, Rogue, and a couple other higher requested ones are problematic but certainly not out of the running. I wouldn't expect to see Namor any time soon though. icon_e_smile.gif

    Hi IceIX, aka Red Leader! I'm VERY excited for Ghost Rider and the upcoming new story.

    As an aside though, I personally would've absolutely not expected Red Hulk to be classified as a "villain" in this game (for the sake of GR's Penance Stare). Sure, he was a violent wildcard in his debut series, but he eventually joined the Avengers for some time at Steve Rogers' request, and later led his own team of antiheroes in Thunderbolts v2.

    I challenge anyone in this thread to come up with a particularly nefarious/villainous Red Hulk moment beyond this one:

    I dunno much about the more recent exploits of Red Hulk, but Thunderbolt Ross was always painted as an antagonist. Kinda surprised that Phoenix is not a villain, on the other hand.

    Me thinks Dark Phoenix will fill the villain shoes further down the road.
