black - mine r 242 and my storm went down but got one blue off. finished with only thor/loki, and they had lost half their health. no fast teams in the choices. no ap accelerators (fist/witch/etc.) and only loki for ap control.

The best anti-goon squad, IMO, is IW, Loki, Lthor. Your first priority is to match blue so that sue can lock down tiles. Second, when you're facing snipers DELAY taking out the green CDs for as long as possible. Even if there are 30 aps in the bank, AI will NOT put multiple sniper green CDs on the board. USE THAT TO YOUR ADVANTAGE.

In the meantime, as long as you have enough blue ap to fire fire sue's bl ability, focus on matching red & yel to get Lthor's gr chain going. If CDs go off, let your Lthor take the hit.

Loki's job is to fire his pink and help you match bl/yel/rds.

The best rainbow team available is probably Fury, HT, Iceman. Your main source of dmg is HT (rd, gr, bk in that order) and Fury pink. Save blue for Iceman's blue stun.

For easy nodes, I use 2* marvel, 2* wolf, 1* black widow or mnmag. Fast damage with green, aoe with bk. Plus rainbow coverage.

I still like Iron Man 40, Human Torch and Loki. Iron Man feeds Torch red and green AP and tanks red for him. Loki does Illusions and Mischief to drain more AP. Works pretty well.

I've been using my undercovered LThor (2/1/1) CStorm and MNMags for all nodes so far. Make pink and blue priority and just stun stun stun. The damage does virtually nothing on the tougher nodes (well for me anyway) but that 4 turn stun gives you plenty of time to save up for MNMags red or any of Thors powers which should down them. Granted you will probably need a bit of board luck as well (I did)

Well at least I'm not the only one having a tough time of it. I cleared the last node with Hulk, Loki and Vision, but had to use a high level Surgical Strike TU. I'm used to using Loki with Patch, but he's still quite good without Trickery cheese.

My main trouble with this event is that I have very few covers for Nick, Iceman, cStorm, and IW. Having maxed out Thor, Hulk and Torch is nice, but they only cover 4 colors. My purple options are Loki and Bullseye, and the only special good tile generator available is Torch's black, which drains purple from BE.

Hm, I suppose I could run BE and AXW. I'll have to try that later...

Sub 2 Reinforcements are Rocket & Groot, Captain America and Classic Hawkeye.
Grocket is an excellent meat (wood?) shield for Thor.

is there a reason we don't get 4* reinforcements? with the 4* essentials and the proliferation of 4* play and 5*s affecting scaling, having a 4* reinforcement included could really help.

Your guess is as good as mine... This is a huge improvement over the old Heroic model though. That had no subs, no Reinforcements but lots of grinding.

I like im40/torch/cstorm. no ap control, but im40 feeds torch red and storm blue - that seems to work well.

If we wanna go with history. . . back in the OLD days the nodes refreshed every 2 1/2 hours. Thankfully, d3 decided to stretch that out to 8 hour refreshes, so that normal people can get some ZzzzzZZzz icon_mrgreen.gificon_mrgreen.gif

If we go back even further, there weren't timers and you just had to guess at when they were at full points. Rubberbanding made it even tougher, as you could shoot from last to first if you timed it right and were able to outgrind your opponents.

An alliance mate noted there was only 1 CP in the last sub. Is that correct? I'm 13 hours away so hard for me to confirm.

Wrong, there's 2. I collected them both first time. the NF essential and second to last node have the CP, your alliance mates probably missed the second cp since so far its been on the 4* essential and last node, for final sub it's on 4* essential and second to last node

I take it back and thanks for the spot. Sorry Zeiram for the miss-info.

No problem. I just wanted to make sure you didn't miss one because by the time I would know, you'd probably be asleep.

Finished top 50 in the 2nd sub-event "Won't Stop" but received only one J:Heroic token- weren't there other placement awards? 50 HP, right?

edit: sorry, i should clarify that i'm lukewarmstyle (and i wasn't quite sure where to present this issue).
