You're complaining about too much of a good thing. It's just stupid from the outset. Nobody is forcing you to play. Just because you have FOMO doesn't mean we should reduce it down to one event per week so your precious wittle feelies aren't hurt by not being able to participate in every single thing.

did i say 1 event a week? no i didnt. but there is such thing as spacing events out. pretty sure i seen a few comments about too many events causing burnout. no need to jump down someones throat for having a different opinion than you. as i said, its ok for others to complain when it suits them but when others do it WHEN THEIR HAPPY its not ok??? how does that work? people are entitled to their opinion without having to put up with others having a go. i dont jump down other peoples throats if they post something to do with the game they dont like.
  • I was in 7th in the Double Shot tourny with a shield up cause i wanted to take part in the lightning rounds, BUT then they do this new PVE at the same time as everything else. There aint enough health packs in the world for mid-tier players like me and others. So i had to ignore the lightning rounds, stop the DS tourny and just focus on the PVE instead as i want to get as many points as possible. Especially if the points reset at some stage, cause i can only do 1 tourny at a time.

i think they should space things out a little instead of everything at once.

    That's from your first post.

You are literally saying to do one thing at a time.
  • Nothing wrong with prioritizing on what events you care about. I haven't seriously competed in LR in a while, and I could get top 25 in them when I tried. Heroic Oscorp took all my time + health packs and that was a conscious decision. Plenty of people wimped out and chose to compete on other events and that's also perfectly fine. If anything variety prevents the same guy from dominating every single event which is really boring. It's a good thing that health pack are limiting people's ability to simply play nonstop because that just turns it into a game where whoever plays the most always wins, and I wouldn't miss Spiderman when he's nerfed to prevent this kind of behavior.

yes, 1 thing at a time, not 1 thing A WEEK. this event could easily have been started after the lightning rounds is what im saying

thank you for your comment and opinion without been a **** about it. cant expect everyone to be happy with everything. this is why forums exist, so people can state their opinions, but nope apparently im not allowed one as i dont agree with others lol least you have a good answer so cheers

Perhaps it was more just the timing of your post. After so much grousing the last couple weeks, we got an event that, from the outset, looks and feels great. Everything people have been complaining about (for PVE) has been answered and with a generous apology in the form of ISO.

Personally, I prefer having multiple events because it does spread the competition out - everyone has to have priorities. For myself, I'm choosing to do exactly as you are - I'm giving up on the LR's (save for getting to 100 and then tanking), and I'm keeping an eye on the DS tourney (holding steady in the 20's). The rest of my MPQ time is going into this new PVE event. There's nothing wrong with not being able to do it all. It's all about priorities and unless you devote your entire week to this one game, you essentially have to choose b/w more Daredevil covers, more villain covers, or the new Psylocke covers. That's good game design, in my opinion.

if i retreat all my games in the LR then would i get an easier bracket the next one? or do i have to put out a **** team and win?

You're being a nitpicky idiot. You're asking for one thing at a time which amounts to one thing per week. The lightning rounds start Tuesday and end Thursday. This current PVE runs for 9 days. Are you suggesting that after LR ends, we have a 9 day PVE event and nothing else?

You're wrong dude, and your complaints are stupid.

Just get upto 100 leave one of the seed teams in and then beat them with a weak team and leave them to the dogs.

You can't retreat, I don't believe - not entirely sure about the LR, but I believe you have to win 1. Regardless, 3-4 fights gets you to 100 points, you get the easy rewards then forget about it. At this point, we're on the 3rd LR of the day and I'm already fighting seed teams to get my 100 points (though that may be lack of competitors as well - seems like everyone has abandoned the LRs for Psylocke).
  • This is the dumbest complaint ever.

It really is synergy with the topic and the OP's name.

It's just an opinion folks, he wasn't ranting and raving about it being unfair.
    Cut the guy some slack.

way to be a **** again. im entitled to my opinion as you are, but least i dont get angry at others for theirs like you. either you are too blind to see my comment or just ignorant to what i said, then thats your problem not mine. i never said anything about one event a week. as my FIRST POST STATED, about spacing things out a little. did i say just having this 9 day event? again noooooooooooo but in your mind apparently i did. does the words SPACING THINGS OUT mean 1 event a week? nooooooooooooo. is there not a DS event going on as well??? *double checks* yep its still there

  • Spiderman probably gives those who have him a very big advantage, but that's because of his stuns not heals. In something like Heroic Oscorp or TaT, Spiderman's ability to heal is actually pretty irrelevent because if he can't stunlock things forever, there's no way his heals would keep up with the level 230 guys you fight, especially the minions that can often kill your whole team in one shot. But it's not like people don't know Spiderman's overpowered. Even though I think his healing should be nerfed too, it simply wouldn't matter as much when they do get around fixing his stunlock because there's an awful a lot of PvE content where healing is mostly irrelevent when fighting guys that can reliably kill a guy in a single move.

is it just his stun they are fixing then? or could they do the heal as well?
  • is it just his stun they are fixing then? or could they do the heal as well?

Stun is pretty sure to get nerfed, because if you look at the list of characters on the list the one thing they all have in common is powerful skills for very low AP costs. Heals and protect might get reduced scaling per web tile, tho not sure the devs will touch them too much.
