Looks like a good time to run Gamora and Iron Fist. Gamora can tank all her colors if you put her in the middle and Iron Fist can feed her black.

But it's a Spider-Man event, you can't put her in the middle.

I'm running my level 145 (boosted 254) 3/5/5 ASM, 166 (boosted 240) 5/5/3 Doc Ock, and 213 (not boosted) 5/1/4 Carnage, at least at first.

It's thematic, and has the advantage of both taking 3 hours and needing 3 health packs after.

Actually, that's not the case, so far the climb has been quite painless, even clearing up a few max-boosted 3* teams on the way.

No problem, Spider-man and Gamora share no colors so she still tanks all green, black and red.
(I consider the second position - the one on the right in the character selection screen - to be the middle. In this case Spider-man would be first, Gamora in the middle and Iron Fist last)

Dear God, you weren't kidding!

Just ran my first few "real" fights, and wow, I'm going to have to make sure I have plenty of snacks and liquids on hand to keep my energy and hydration up!

I think it's a real testament to just how utterly **** and ineffectual ol' Peter is that even when he's boosted to 290 you still leave him until last.

Damn you devs, he coulda been a contender!

I usually stick some ISO into the featured character... going to leave Spidey at lvl 120, he's not a scarecrow at any level so it might as well go into Gamora.

I wish they would release a 4* black suit Spidey with some legit powers, or even retire the current 3* and replace him with a better version. It's really sad not to have as important a character as Spidey with a good MPQ counterpart.

I'm getting reasonable speed with Grey Suit Black Widow and Scarlet Witch, cruised up from 400 to about 950 with a load of Fistbusters and Fist WXF along the way, till I ran out of decent scoring fights and attacks starting to come in. Shielded up and will aim for the Fury cover in the morning, then I'm going to try taking or some Jean teams (gotta start working on Tactics at some point, so why not when I can stun her!).

Trying to speed things up a little, I broke out GSBW and Prof X. Damn, damn, damn, at level 254 boosted, his yellow is exactly the same value as level 240 GSBW's purple.

His yellow at 145 is 71, at 254 it's 85.
Her purple at 166 is 79, at 240 it's 85.

So of course all my criticals just give me more yellow instead of purple. Damn, damn, double damn, I should have left him at 140, or even lower.

Can't help but smile a bit when the opposing Spider-man stuns my Spider-man... making Gamora tank even more colors just in time to fire a Bad Reputation.

my 5:30AM hop used to always be good for 2, sometimes 3 matches. not any more. if I have to 1-match hop to 1300, it isn't going to happen very often until I get another 4* up and running.
