My screen says I'm shielded, but I am not, apparently

I want to vomit, cry, and scream all at once. I went to lunch shortly after making a quick attack and shielding in the No Hold Barred Elite tournament, when I got back I had a slew of attacked messages. Even though my screen shows me as being shielded (I have a screenshot I sent in with a support ticket) I have apparently been visible and unshielded for everyone else. I am now completely out of the running for third place, which is the only thing I cared about, and missed on sleep and spent hours trying to fight for this weekend. All gone in less than an hour. I sent in a ticket through the in-game system and an email, and I'll probably post in the Bugs forum as well, but I don't know how they can make it right at this point. Even if they refund me all of my points, there are almost certainly people who beat me who have leapfrogged past where I was previously. I don't want to go on playing the tournament at this point, but if they do refund me my points and I would still have the tiniest chance of getting third, then I want to keep going. I am devastated. I know it's just a game, and I'll be fine a week from now regardless of the outcome, but right now...

This is what my screen shows, after being hit 5-15 times in the last hour, notice that my shield at the very least has been up for an hour and a half.

You can still be attacked when shielded. You just don't lose points when being attacked meaning others can actually still overtake you in rank because your points stay the same and others have a chance to beat it. I believe the shields have been this way for quite some time. You can shield at 600 and be in 1st place but others can still attack you, you don't lose points but they gain points and can overtake you. If you lost rank points however, submit a ticket immediately because you are suppose to be immune during that time.

Yeah I double checked and I lost all of the points that it showed. I know how the "You were attacked (SHIELDED)" popups look, and the popups I was getting were not them. They were red, showed the total minus points, and my score fell, for sure. I did submit a ticket, but wanted to post here as well.

If you were shielded and that happened its definitely something worth looking into. As far as I know there isn't a shield buster feature yet and that little glitch cost you HP and possible rewards. If you find out anything from customer service please let us know.
