Legendary token choices

I've been playing for a good while now and I like to see some of the changes that have been coming along. Right now I'm transitioning to my 3* teams and a thought occurred to me. What would happen if I did get a legendary token during this transition?

Sure, you'd be stoked for a guaranteed 4* with a chance at a 5* but I don't think that would help me at all. Normal tokens give you more of a chance for 2*, maybe a 3* or 4*. Sure, you can spend tacos but the chances are about the same. More 2*, iso or health packs. Then you have the PvE and PvP events you have to wait for close to the end, if you don't already have your legendary token.

So wanted to ask if you guys that are still stuck in this transition like I am would like a choice between two guaranteed 3* as opposed to 4* and small chance at 5*? Could help suppress the scaling issues that some have while leveling.
