Moving from 2* to 3*

Hi all,
I am finally starting to make some progress with my 3* characters and would like to move towards using them.
But I need advice on who I should use for my A team, and maybe also which character I should level first.
My roster is as follow:

3* characters:
5/3/5 Punisher lvl 80 (can go to 141)
4/2/2 Hulk lvl 77 (max at 77 now)
2/5/4 Spidy lvl 75 (can go to 115)
3/2/1 Patch lvl 43 (can go to 53)
4/4/1 Hood lvl 40 (can go to 92)
4/2 Doom lvl 15 (can go to 64)

My 2* characters are as followed:
4/4/5 Ares lvl 85
5/5/3 Thor lvl 85
5/3/5 Wolv lvl 85
5/5/3 Storm lvl 70
3/5/5 Capt lvl 70
3/2/5 BW lvl 55
5/3/5 Hawk lvl 50

Ironically, I have been using mostly my 2* Wolv with Spidy in the last 2 pvp events to get top 5...

Punisher is the only cover you have that can get to a reasonable level I think. He's a perfectly fine character, so I would just dump all my iso into him. Spidey is going to get the nerf bat, Hood is interesting but I'm not 100% sold on him yet, and you don't have enough covers for the other guys. I would just go with Punisher and pick your future people accordingly based on what covers you get.

As for your A team, Punisher/Thor/Spidey or Punisher/Ares/Spidey seems pretty reasonable.
