Silver Surfer Singularity

I was playing a Versus match against a Silver Surfer. He had fired Silver Singularity, and on the next turn I downed Silver Surfer. The Black Hole CD tile remained on the board.

Does this CD not expire after Silver Surfer is downed?

    It does not. It's a weird one, that black hole tile.
