Picking boards?

I have seen several references to choosing a board to fight on. Is this possible and I am missing a feature?

    The environment is determined by the location of the match. Usually bottom right is city. Top is lab. Bottom left is forest. In Blind Justice, the bottom right is desert instead.

    You can see the background when you select the match, behind the character lineup before you click on the 'fight' button.
