taco tokens

hello,
i read a bit on the forums and most people suggested to stock up on taco tokens until you have a large amount of them (e.g. around 100) and then you keep opening them until you get some good rewards from the vault. If the good rewards drop early, you stop opening more tokens. And if the rewards are poor, the chances for the good rewards only increases for each next token.
So this seemed like a good approach and i wanted to try it. But now i am stuck with 9 taco tokens for taco vault: savagery and 3 taco tokens for taco vault: sweet.
Does this mean this tactic doesnt work anymore? Since you cant save them up, and we are basically stuck with a less than 1% chance for a good reward per day?

but if every 5 days they go into a new vault, how can you save up more than 10 tokens for 1 vault?

There are two taco vaults in rotation. Every five days one goes active while the previously active goes in reserve. Every taco you win will go in the active vault. To have 100 taco in one vault takes 100 days (2 tacos each days, divided between two vaults).

I've gone the long road, waiting for the big 300. I currently have 114 tacos in the current active one and 110 in the reserve vault.

Off vault becomes the main vault, main vault becomes the off vault - now you're 0-10 instead of 10-0. If you get another 10 tokens, you're at 10-10 then the vaults switch again. Essentially the tokens stay in the same vault, but which vault is active alternates each week. If you don't spend those initial 10 tokens, you'll have 20 at the end of the next week.

So instead of taking 100 days to get 100 tokens in 1 vault, it takes 200 days to get 100 tokens in each vault.

Except you get 2 tokens a day, so cut those times in half.

The vault has way too many 2 stars in it. I counted this morning and it's like 177 (over half the vault) not to mention all the health packs. They need to improve the odds more by adding more 3 stars into it. I understand having 2 stars in it, but with 2 star being such overload these days, this is the perfect place to cut back on the them.

At minimum the vault should hold 2 of every 3 star character.

I have almost 100 for each vault. I only want the Legendary token and most of the time the 4*s. The other top 3 prizes would be nice as well. The health packs have more value to me than any of the 3*s since I'm done with those except for 1 respec and duplicate Iron Fist/Hood. I'm going for 300 because I need 100% assurance on legendary plus wait for both 4*s to be needed.

This is where it is funny to compare the complaints between the Vault and 4* DDQ challenge. People who want 1-3 items in the vault are having an easier time with the 4* DDQ challenge. The people who can't play the 4* DDQ challenge at least have a chance at goodies in the vault.

Disclaimer: The 4* DDQ is not all that easy for me. Barely passed them so far, but definitely can't with my 1/0/2 Elektra.

I'm betting that most of the guys complaining about 4* DDQ are like me, nearing 3 completion but with barely a foot in 4 land. I can't compete in 4* DDQ and I'm barely interested by the content of the vault. Worst of both worlds.
