Stuck pin bug in Women of Marvel event

I just experienced the stuck pin bug in Women of Marvel event. I fought a retal node and it kicked me right back to the pin screen after the fight was over. I still have the retal node there with the same person. I didn't get an ISO reward but did receive points for the win.

Is this going to be an issue with all PVPs going forward or is this just a special celebration bug for the anniversary?

    I've had this problem too, and it looks like so have others:

    I didn't notice any particular response from the devs beside one question asking for more details. We're going to have to play blind for a while it seems.
