Realizing it's none of my business, I have to admit to being a bit concerned for Dear Bluey. "Medical stuff" followed by a departure from the forum is a bit worrying…

As for the ninjas, yeah, they sucked, again, buuut…

After losing my go-to 2* crew, I decided that since I had nothing else to do, I would experiment with my up-and-coming 3*s, aaand…

Cyke, Cage, and SWitch, all level 120, for the win!

Nice DBC, beating BE with 3s mean you are soon going to be able to send most of your 2s to live with a nice farm family where they can chase rabbits all day long... At least that's what happened to mine...

I don't feel like making a separate thread of speculation for who will be the opponent against the Big Red Dino, when we will know in < 9 hours. Thoughts?

I could see Captain Marvel being an interesting choice. Besides Carol having a reputation for fighting dinosaurs, it would be a counter to his Green/Red attacks while lower-level DDs could maybe squeak under the damage threshold for her Yellow.

Okay, so I haven't played too much of DDQ since I went on a bit of a hiatus during the time DDQ was released which might be why I'm having some problems with strategies. I tried searching the forums for strategy tips, but I spent most of my time trawling through General Discussion threads re: Galactus with most of the solutions requiring characters I don't have.

I'm having a ton of trouble with the Under the Sea node with all the ninjas and such. I can survive the first wave and take down Squirrel Girl... but the final round of ninjas always proves to be too much.

Any ideas on how to tackle the node?

I have all the 2*s fully covered and my 3*s are in various states of uncovered-ness and my 2*s are all leveled to more or less match the uncovered-and-therefore-not-very-levelable state of my 3*s so they can play nicely together.

Edit 1: I've tried bringing out Thor and Ares on different excursions with the hope of utilizing their group attack abilities respectively and I've brought out Storm for both her freezing and passive abilities, but I'm just not getting through. OBW usually isn't fast enough to steal, either, and oftentimes, not enough blues to make using her CD+ ability much use. I'm chalking up some of my difficulty to having a bad board or two with tiles scattered everywhere, but I'm also probably not using a fully-efficient strategy, either.

Edit 2: Okay, I think I found a strategy that works. Classic Storm, Marvel Now Thor, and Marvel Now Magneto. I was concerned about too much color overlap but as it turns out, the color overlap and team synergy was perfect for this node.

Since Nextwave aren't in the game yet (Why aren't Nextwave in the game yet? It's like Shakespeare but with lots more punching!), my guess is Squirrel girl.
For a more serious guess... Carnage maybe?

I was checking in this morning just to edit in the real matchup only to find out it actually was Squirrel Girl. Only slightly less surprising than my joke guess being right: she's not Level 270 like all the other 4* nodes have been. My 4/1/1 Devil Dinosaur still got creamed on my first try, but other people without terrible DD's may have an easier time.

Any tips for a 3/2/2 dinosaur? I'm at level 105 with no ISO, but max I could get is 147. I can try to raise the level today but I still don't have an idea on winning.

Have you played the lightning rounds? If yes, you should be getting 5K ISO soon. If not, make sure to play at least one game in the next round, it will be the last.

I think level 105 would be enough. I used +2 Red Yellow AP , %50 Red Yellow and %125 All Colors boosts and won with my 1/3/2 level 94 DD

as you have green higher, change red/yellow boosts to green/black, you are good to go...

I won on my fourth try with 2/2/1 and whatever the level cap is there. I boosted as much damage as I could -- +60% all (ran out), +50% r/y, +50% b/p -- then tried to deny purple first and foremost, then yellow/green. I kept an eye out for buildups of black tiles in the upper left corner for free matches (once got a match-5), but otherwise, you try to deny, and then chomp when you can. Stockpiles IMHO don't matter in this round.

My 0/0/2 Dino took her to 75% health before she got her yellow protect move off, and then I was doomed. I imagine it's super easy with any actual damage output... here's to hoping I get some dinos from tokens today.

Echoing what others have said, this is definitely winnable with a low Devil Dinosaur. I'm at Level 107 (2/1/4--I misquoted earlier...I thought purple was the first power) and I was able to do it. I boosted G/B, Y/R and all damage as much as I could. I also had DD dance A LOT, but that's probably less essential...

One thing that helps is that Squirrel Girl appears to be very undercovered (1/1/1, maybe?) and all of her skills depend on how many covers she has. Her green countdowns did under 600 damage and my SG does more than double that at half the level. Because of this, I think you prioritize purple, yellow and then green when it comes to matching.

I never thought I'd be able to win one of the DDQ 4* nodes for a long, long time, much less with Devil Dino. Not a bad day all around, apparently

My 2nd 4* DDQ win (1st was IW). Its doable with a low lvl Dino, mine is lvl 111 (3/1/0). Just focus on green and red, use your powers as much as possible, and dont let her yellow get off.
