What team do opponents see????

I just read that they see your last completed match. So does that mean last match in a particular tournament or last match across the game.

Example: daredevil showing up in best there is tournament after finishing a match.

First of all, any team already seen does not change. Say you were using team A and just sitting around doing nothing, someone queues you up and sees team A. You will always have team A to them no matter what you did after this point, because they already saw your team and had you queued up.

Likewise any matchup from the result of a retaliation has a fixed team that cannot be changed. Whatever team you beat someone with is always what they see for the retaliation.

Although we have had efforts to try to determine what team appears to be a new opponent, it's obviously hard because we can't exactly ask whoever attacked you what team they saw unless you know that person. But, from our best guesses, any new opponent sees the team that you last won a match with. It used to be the last team you played with, but we've had enough reports of never seeing tank teams that people purposely put up to be reasonably sure this is no longer the case.

Possible I'm misunderstanding, possible this was just a brainfart on IceIX's part, but I think he just said actually going through the motions of getting a full defeat with the Bag-Man All-Stars makes it your current server team, just retreating doesn't. I'll continue assuming last team you won with until I hear definitively otherwise because I'm so bad at LRs I don't need to tank, but thought it might be of interest to the experimentation-inclined.

winning tank team will be surely seen, except the cases Phantron told.

Losing tank team probably wont show up. just in case I will test this in shield training...
