So after getting up this morning and reading some of ICEs responses and the subsequent questions I've figured out that we are all playing with the wrong mentaility.

Galactus is an ancient God right? What do ancient gods love? SACRIFICES! That's why we are supposed to lose, if we sacrifice enough of our characters to him for 3 days he will be satisfied and reward us.... Well according to the official line of "you're supposed to lose" anyway.

First side note: got a free anniversary token this morning and got.... My 8th ms marvel in a day! Yipee for anniversary tokens.

Second side note : it seems that with this event D3 goal was to widen the gap between the top 1% of players (most likely to be the ones spending tons of money) and everyone else. If you have a 2 or 3 * roster and really want some good progression rewards...wait till this event is finished as you will only be getting those amazing anniversary tokens I mentioned in point 1.
