Returning to Game After Hiatus - some advice?

Hey everyone,

It's been a bit of time since I last played MPQ and I was wondering if anyone could offer a brief rundown on what has happened in the game in the last 6-8 months (I -think- I stopped playing very shortly after we did the Gauntlet event and Mystique was first introduced as a character if that gives anyone a better idea) along with some advice on how to pick the game back up and how and where to focus.

It seems like there's been a lot of change and I'm not sure how these things might affect me as a returning player.

I was a transitioning 2-3* player, then, and I mostly still am, now, as once I took my hiatus, I never picked up the game again until now.

    ... And too late. I already poked at the Galactus thing and immediately regretted it.
