    No Deadpool stories? icon_e_sad.gif
  • Ha ha you smelly ninjas.

Switched days on me when I thought, "Phew, ninjas on IM40 day!"

Woke up to find my 5th IF blackflag.png hidden behind the red-clad "wall o' tears."

Took 'em down, something proper. Jerks. icon_e_wink.gificon_lol.gif

For weeks I've been getting my storm, magneto, thor combo ready to have my first victory. Then every week the essential was someone I didn't have, then came along iron fist! I was so excited, my first win was coming, I needed the IF cover! One word...ninjas! I really hate ninjas, cannot beat them with my current roster...more waiting

Too late for this week, but don't give up on the ninjas.

They're a MAJOR pain, but you can beat them with Thormneto. I beat them pretty much every week with the same team, substituting OBW (my MPQ queen) for Mags.

One piece of often overlooked advice is to pay careful attention to your T-Us. I tend to ask specifically for boardshakers like Hood's Twin Pistols and (believe it or not) Juggs. Others (Malcrof I think?) have suggested that Daredevil T-Us work exceptionally well. Another I've considered but not used is Moonstone.

Essentially, if you can survive the first wave, even with three (yes, THREE, trust me) digit health and find a way to clear all or most of those (stupid) attack tiles, the last 3 waves become business as usual...

I realize it's tough, and seemingly impossible, but you can do it!

Good luck, and congrats again on your first BE victory!

i still used thormneto on ninja day. they have so much board destroying, the attack tiles eventually get taken care of. their cheap, short red cds damage me more than the attacks because it takes some ap gathering to get the chain going but once it does get going, it becomes pretty simple. this week i had thor down to about 1/3 health and mags down to aobut 3/4 on ninja day, but was able to finish without any more damage taken. came out of today with zero damage taken. still surprised that they say it is so rare for 2* teams to complete big enchilada.

When I was playing early on, I had no problem with BE with Thor2, OBW, Ms Marvel 2. Now I know that my Thor should have been 355 instead of 445, but it was still straightforward even vs ninjas. Then again, Ms Marvel is overlooked heavily as lower tier, so I guess not many people bother keeping her.

I personally love Ms. Marvel. She has a good black, which is a color not many 2 stars have. Her red is cheap and gets rid of annoying protect tiles. Her yellow is especially handy in overwriting enemy countdowns. She is a constant factor in my 2 star team

Hulkbuster vs Hulk was the easiest fight yet. Collect red, Repulsor Punch, score!
I realize it might be a bit difficult for those with underleveled Busters though - mine is level 250.

Yes. It meant having to collect 30 red and 22 black before dealing damage. And making sure I still had enough health that using black twice wouldn't kill me. Still easier than the Cyclops fight, though, despite having a fully covered XFW.

I'm thinking no chance for me. My ridiculous hulk buster has only 4 black, which damages itself! Whatever.

I tried it just for kicks but knew I had no chance because my Hulkbuster has a single black

My Hulkbuster was 0/0/1 (blue), so I died badly. Got the legendary token from pve and got another Hulkbuster blue, but 0/0/2 isn't really a viable option. Oh well, next time...

Took a few tries, but my Levle 168 3/4/3 got the job done. Just had to use blue strategically, then black and then red pow! Although at 3 covers, it isn't that much of a pow.

Yeah, I've tried a couple times with my 1/1/0, Level 74 Hulkbuster...with predictable results. Sure it would take a cascade of insane proportions for me to beat the Hulk, but stranger things have happened and I'm not using my Hulkbuster anywhere else at the moment. ...and the fight sure are quick. icon_e_smile.gif
