Singularity From Secret Wars

Before the Secret Wars hype sizzle down, I would like to introduce Singularity from Marvel's Future Fight into the game mechanics. I know, I get that you guys want new story events instead of new characters that you can never get at this point, but hear me out! Singularity is supposed to be male in the Earth-616 universe before the multiverse collapse, thereby creating a pocket dimension that develops sentience. This entity doesn't have a gender, yet the writers choose to portray Singularity as a female. Neat, hmm? Let's see how I would incorporate this character into the MPQ universe.
Singularity (A-Force)
Space Fold - 12 AP: Singularity creates a pocket dimension accessible only to herself. Select 1 friendly special tile. Banish it from the board for 3 turn. The banished tile returns to its original position on the board when it is your turn.
e.g.

VVVVVVV
3 turns later...
|||||||||||
VVVVVVV
Max Level: Select 4 friendly special tiles to banish. After 2 turns, banished tiles that return to their original positions on the board cannot be destroyed or overwritten by enemy abilities. Matching colors neutralizes the invincibility of banished tiles (like matching locked tiles).
Dimensional Tear - 16 AP: Antimatter shreds the fabric of reality from Singularity's fingertips. Destroy the board's top row and inflict 840 damage. Does not gain AP from destroyed tiles.
e.g.
Red tiles = Destroyed; Black Tiles = Intact
Max Level: Destroy all four corners of the board and inflict 4200 damage to the enemy team. Does not gain AP from destroyed tiles.
e.g.
Red tiles = Destroyed; Black Tiles = Intact
Cosmic Pull (Passive) - 0 AP: Energy gravitates towards Singularity wherever she goes. Whenever Singularity makes a match with her icon on the board, add 1 black AP to your team.
Max Level: When either side makes a match with Singularity's icon on the board, add 2 black and 2 blue AP to your team.

This is actually a very well done character, a 4* for sure.
Only 1 question, do the banished tiles retain their effects? Example, if i banish IF's attack tile, will it still do damage each turn, or is it gone until it comes back.
If so.. this could be both good and bad.. IF would place another tile next turn, then his original comes back, giving you 2.. but, you also lose the power of attack and shield tiles..0 -

To answer your question, Malcrof, yes, the banished tiles do retain their effect after coming back from being banished.
In exchange of temporarily losing the effect of the banished tiles due to disappearing on the board for 2-3 turns, it can come back stronger with an invincibility of a Locked Tile. meaning that the enemy team cannot destroy or overwrite the banished tile with their own abilities, and the only way to neutralize the invincibility is by matching the tiles.
Does that answer your question, Malcrof? and remind me again who IF stands for?0 -

IF = Iron Fist
And yes, that answered it perfectly, so when they come back, they are buffed..very nice!0 -
I can see this playing really well. I love Singularity, and this gameplay is definitely consistent with her character. The only change I would make is to the yellow, which I might make purple, because a lot of her art has a purple Milky Way-like mist through it. And possibly change it to a recruit-like character like Nick Fury has. She could recruit She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, Storm, Scarlet Witch, Black Widow, Elektra, and other A-Force characters when they come (Nico, Dazzler, Namor, Spider- Woman, Wasp, Rogue) etc. She-Hulk would reduce AP, Black Widow would steal AP, etc depending on number of covers. Each cover would add a hero.0
