I'm struggling to put together a good team for this. Mystique/Cage/Colosus is great on defense, but so slow. Currently using Mystique/HT/IF. Here's my roster, any help would be welcome...

...doubt the rest really matter (all 3s are at 121+ but not boosted)

Mystique hits for 10k with purp->black, so I'm thinking of SWitch and IF, but IF needs the purp to make black, and I'd be lacking good quick dmg like I have with HT.

I'm ignoring her nuke and running IF/Cage. Mystiques blue generates purple and black. IF's purple generates black. Then punch, punch, punch.

Mystique takes 8 purp + 11 black to do 10k.

If you have just one more black banked, then you can punch with IF for 4k, Jab for ~1300, then cross for ~5.6k. Same total dmg, but you get a stun, still have 3 purple left and can spread it around if there are no enemies left with 10k health. Also, the jab cd tile will be there for a few turns so if you get more black you can hit hard again.

I've run some combination of cage, fist, and torch. I think I've used all 3 combos of those 3 guys. depends on who I'm facing. if I'm facing a red user, usually torch is involved. basically I'm mirroring the opposing team. hit one KK/deadpool team with torch and fist I think. for some reason every mystique blue and fist black the opponent throws lead to cascades everywhere and every one I throw just sit there. I even timed a perfect follow up with opponent mystique blue not causing anything, then I follow up with blue and the board fills with purple and black, but just sits there. so frustrating.

edit: forgot I mirrored a torch/hood team with torch/hood.

I've done a fair number of mirroring myself. Unfortunately my Cage only has 2 in black still, everything else is at 5, so I don't reap the big black dmg or the stun.

That's a good point about Mystique's total AP for nuke...19 AP for 11k dmg, but thats still really good considering my HT nets like 5k+ off 7 or 8 reds, and it takes Cage 11 AP to get to that number.

I kind of want to try She Hulk/Cage, but IF/Cage might be my best bet, using Mystique as a battery really...

Getting up to 1,000 everyone was running a Cage.

After 1,000 everyone is running Fistbuster, 350 Carnage, super surfer, 4Pool/Thing, or other high level 4 stars.

Ran into a couple of maxed out MRFs and even a max boosted Ice.

Kingdreadnaught is in my slice and he's been running his 33K health surfer with a 350 Carnage.

I've been running a level 300+ Carnage with a level 300+ MRF. Good AoE, good damage to take out someone quickly, and really good damage soaking with MRF and his 4,000 health healing.

I've come up against two teams in this event with a Silver Surfer. But it's a single cover, and both times it's black. Even though he's level 270 and a bazillion health, that's just not scary.

Bah, got really close to winning that at 800, but didnt get any decent matchups after hitting 700 points... and everytime i did get an opponent that was doable i got attacked during playing for 50+ points. Now i ran out of health packs

what a weird experience joined slice 3 final 2 hrs was not attacked once...cage mystique cmag maxed.. wish I had more time.

Cage/HT or cage/shulk, later one is slower but really puts people off.
