Dang! I was really hoping for her black to be top 100. Guess I'll have to settle for a 5/5/3 Mystique whilst I wait for more black covers .

I'm pretty sure Iceix said somewhere that weekly buffs are determined mostly at random. They need to stop that. All this pink and there's no one to feed it to except OBW. I'm glad I didn't build my Witch 3/5/5.




Pink fed OBW sounds really annoying.

The award is in sequence. A week ago had the mystique black and it was natural that the next would be purple.

I'm confused... Can you not feed it to Wanda herself? Her pink is pretty rough on the enemy team.

wow, just got hit by level 233 iceman (boosted to lvl 308 - 5/5/2). that didn't take long. pretty active pretty early here.

1. Strangely, I could see a person twice on my retaliation queue. First, when i started (when that node was advertised for only 28 pts). Second, after my 2nd or 3rd match, on a different node..

Thankfully, I could find that person's score from their alliance leaderboard, so I knew I could use that first retaliation node as their score was higher than mine and by the time I found that person again, their score would've been lower than mine and would give less points than advertised.. so I skipped them the 2nd time.

2. Would you still consider it double tapping if I decided to retaliate on both nodes?

I wouldn't, but the other person probably wouldn't be able to differentiate between that, or the fact that I was retaliating twice..

3. There's another person, from their sister alliance, who kept retaliating yesterday, despite the fact I could actually gain more points than what I would lose.. why would someone be so kind? I mean, thank you..

Both people in my examples are from a top 10 alliance with SW, PX and GSBW.. so they would've been playing this game for a while.. so maybe they don't care as long as they get their points quicker than they lose them.. either way, i just don't want to pick a fight against the wrong crowd..

For 1, only the red node is a retaliation match. You can have a player on two nodes at the same time by getting them as a retaliation match and by random queue. For 2, I would still consider it double tapping to hit both nodes in a short period of time; there's no observable difference from their side. For 3, I find it hard to explain as well. Some players, even if in a top 10 alliance, do seem significantly lacking on knowledge of game mechanics. It's possible they weren't paying attention, or just hit retaliations as a matter of policy. Either way, I try not to get into a retaliation war with people as you never know who might hold a grudge for the perceived insult.
