How's your Hulk PVE going?

I was stoked to see that I don't need any of the placement rewards, so I can just go for that Legendary Token.

I have just over 2 days left and I'm pretty sure I won't get it unless those essential nodes start giving me 800+ or something...

I'm SUPPOSED to be able to earn that token right? They wouldn't just make that a progression instead of a placement reward if it wasn't achievable right?

If you're too busy grinding to respond I totally understand. I'll just have to settle for tomorrow's DDQ token maybe.

    I think the reality is that, with work, I'm not going to be able to grind enough to get a token in a 7-day event, and I only had two of the essentials, anyway. I gave up on the legendary after day 2 and just went after the first Hulk token.

    Which promptly ended up being an Iron Man (3) and broke my spirit.

    3 full clears of each sub should be enough to get progression. I've got just under 12h left in Hidden Stash: Greenland and I've already hit 50k. Each sub should be worth more than the last so I should hit 70k before the end.

    I missed most of the first sub because of Gauntlet, ended up with ~4k points. Otherwise, I've been basically sticking to 3 full clears and some short (30-60 mins) grinding near the end. Usually just grind down the first 3 nodes, and a couple clears of some of the easier ones worth more points. I'm sitting at just over 40k now, with about 15k in Amazon. Judging by my rate, I'd be due to hit the legendary token by the end of the 6th sub (my schedule won't sustain this level of play very long). So that's a difference of about 2 subs vs. 5 subs' worth of minimal grinding - just the full clears would get you pretty close IMO.

    I think it's gonna be a close one...currently clearing two full refreshes and then grinding down as much as possible in the evening when time permits.

    Things like work and having to look after the kids get in the way, what a nuisance! (Sarcasm!)

    Not enjoying Juggs, Venom plus anyone...urgh. Oh well, it's a good challenge, if not a little boring.

    Blade, Iron Fist and Falcon seem to do the trick though.

    Overall, 7 days is pretty full on. Maybe there's a better strategy out there...

    3 full clears being full points each time, and just to note that's only if you started at the very beginning.

    Without actually knowing the numbers I can't say for sure but you could probably get to 70k with perfect clears and a big grind starting now (I.e. last 3 subs only, you'd need to be in slice 5). I chose to start early and take it "easy" and I might hit it with 2 days left still.

    Still need 7k pts to get the Legendary token.Probably today will be the day to get so. Its faster than I've expected. Good to have one or two days to take a rest.

    I've hit all of the clears (3 each sub) so far but I'm not religious about it and often a few hours late. I'll grind some at the end, but that basically amounts to another clear and some spot nodes. I'm just about to start the 5th sub and I have 55kso far. I should hit the max progression tomorrow night. You don't have to grind everything to dust to make it.

    Haha sorry dude but i don't think you will be taking first in this one unless our other opponent decides to throw in the towel. Don't care so much about placement but the Thing is a pivotal part of my dream sim troll team:
    1*Spidey, 4* Thing, *5 Silver Surfer

    Why else do you think I would be grinding this event down? lol Just hope I have enough gas left in the tank for the Iceman pVe （￣。￣）ボ～～～～ッ

    Anyway, you keep putting up numbers like you did last sub and i think you will be ok! But make one slip and our mutual enemy will in all likelihood make you pay for it. I've enjoyed reading your progress reports in the Hulk PvE thread and looking forward to your next post!

    I've decided not to grind a 7 day event. Not for a legendary. I'll get mine from 3 and 4 day events.

    Got mine during grind on day 4, with normal PVE play. Halfway the event seems about right for these to allow everyone with all essentials to get it easily.
    If you're missing an essential you'll have to work harder. If you're missing two might be a ****, but just attainable.

    I missed most of the first sub due to Gauntlet as well. I've currently done one full clear of Greenland, with 22 hours left in that sub, and 2 days 22hours left in the event. I'm on 47K at this stage, and I've been pretty much doing three to four suboptimal clears of each sub (since my work life won't let me clear optimally for a seven day event). I've only really done a bit of a half-hearted grind down of the last sub. As Jamie says, the points seem to be going up with each sub, so I think I'll probably make 70K with my suboptimal grinding.

    I'm probably going to try and grind this or this next node down a bit too, just because I don't want to fall short in the last sub. Seems to be achievable, though.

    About as good as it could go.

    I honestly only played until I got the free Hulkie token and now I'm off doing PvP. I'm rather excited, as a Doc Oct player, to see that mohawk storm will be the next loaner possibly.

    I'm on track to get the legendary token before the event ends. Three clears of each sub and a little bit of extra grinding.
    My only regret is joining the first evening, I ended up in a very grindy bracket and what is usually enough for top 50 for me is now barely enough for top 100. Ironically a more relaxed bracket might have made it easier to get the token as I'd have been more motivated to grind each sub for the HP.

    As per other thread, ahead of 3 full clears. My clears have been sub optimal and i do enough to keep me in T50... when it's HP that requires hitting the essentials another 2 times and occasionally the easy nodes then why not.

    Not sure whether to keep playing for HP or may just take the last few nodes easy.

    I've aimed for 10k per sub event and so far have more or less hit it. I am not able to play every 8 hours so I simply grind down the most valuable node as and when I can play for a bit and if i manage to get most of the higher point ones ground down where they are paying less than 100 points it seems to be enough and i don't have 4hor so i really do think that this is very acheivable for anyone.

    I've been going for three full clears of each sub. My timing doesn't really allow for the 3rd clear to be full points, so instead I grind on the highest value nodes a bit. I have all 3 essentials, and should hit 70k pretty easily. I'm at 63k with 3 days to go.

    top 10 already got them with 2.5 days left

    i hit 2 passes at start and then grind at end for 90 mins and will make it with 2 days left...

    people who say they are not going to make it are either starting late and think they are owe the token (you want to start like then dont **** when you dont get the token)
    or people are not hitting the nodes like they say they are...

    iknow of at least 3 people in my side account who just joined last night and goes Its not fair im not geting the token.. Im like well you start 4 days late you shouldnt
