5* Dormammu for Halloween

I feel like he might be the next 5* because he fits the power level required for a 5*, is referenced through The Hood, he is fairly popular, and he fits in with a Halloween release. This is all speculation, but what does everyone think?

Honestly? I feel like Green Goblin follows the halloween motif better with the pumpkin bombs and cackling face motif going on. But hey, it's just the Green Goblin, so I doubt he would be a 5-star galaxy buster (unless Norman Osborne really is that OP)...

Great ideas! I'd love either of those ingame period, or any other character from the Marvel horror corner to be released around Halloween.

Blade was a great choice for Halloween last year, as several IRL MPQ-friends gathered at my place to do our final grind while watching all three Blade films of drastically declining quality. icon_e_biggrin.gif

I'm still hoping for Man-Thing or Dracula someday, too -- the latter was used to great effect recently in this fantastic Deadpool miniseries:

If they were going to do a halloween 5*, Ghost Rider is my choice!
  • If Capcom agree could also include Vergil.

Dormammu sounds like an excellent idea.
  • I'd love to see Gobby because I love Spider-Man, and would welcome any Spidey Villain into the game. I would rather Green Goblin be a 4* character that can be won from an event, and Dormammu be a 5* that can only be acquired from tokens though. Any horror character would be great though. I was really happy Blade was added last year, and will welcome any spook with open arms. Dormammu and Gobby would be my dream come true though!!!

Well, I wasn't expecting that post.

Vergil could be pretty cool in this game though. A horizontal slash move (similar to Optic Blasts), a Devil Trigger countdown (similar to Imaginaut?), possibly some sort of parry ability as well.

Maybe save this for the never-to-be-made Marvel vs Capcom Puzzle Quest spin-off though?
