Odd glitch after updating to R83

I don't know if this has happened to anyone else, and only happened once to me, but right e safter updating to the latest version, I open the app, it loads up, and then a sort of strobe effect happened where the screen continuously went in and out for about ten seconds before stopping.
Anyone else get this?
