Today is a sad day for me. . .

It's day 400 for me (yay, my 5th fury yellow!).

And yet today is still sad as it marks the first time my gauntlet scaling hit 3x395 (on sim 42). I have never seen anything above 340 or so in the past (except goons and the solo hulk nodes in his event).

Long have I worked to remain viable in pve even while leveling my core PvP roster. But alas, pushing 5 4*s above 166 in the last month must have pushed me over the edge.

What am I to do?! *hands up in comicly exaggerated distress!*

Seriously, I can figure out how to beat most of these nodes in my own, though it can be tricky without using ap theft or prof X. Blue (or whales if desperate). Don't know how my 200s (or less) are supposed to fight wicked 395 combos like prof X. + jg + gunner straight up.

Edited in an attempt to clarify that I don't actually need help. I am through node 42 and just waiting for a fantastic cover to finish the gauntlet. I was just commenting. On the general challenge of facing 395s with a less tha complete 4* roster. It requires. . . creative tactics.

I had 395s from 39 or so. Having finished the main leg, the 395s go back to 36 due to scaling. This will be the first gauntlet I won't finish. Anyone whose scaling gets them to 395 had yellow 4hor ages ago. I'm just going for the HP and ISO.

Anyway, if you keep pushing your roster, you'll have the roster to beat the teams 90% of the time. The other 10%, you'll need to DP whale, Cap perma-stun, Hood drain, something else to get over the hump. I both love and hate the Gauntlet. It is unreasonable to have to fight 395 teams with characters you're fighting locked out. Then you beat it, and you're like, wow!

I had 395s in the last few. I don't have yellow thoress so I needed to finish. Super soldier and hood were my go to guys followed by...wait for it...Dr. Octopus. With all the ultrons and special tilists in the last few nodes insult to injury was so good. The only whale node was the final Mr. Fantastic node where I played doc ock deadpool and Mr fantastic. Just because I was low on health packs and didn't want to manage it. Laziness I guess.

Yup, ultron sentries are practically made for doc oc. Tons of special tiles to match away and manipulate.

Just wanted to point out that I hit 395s on simulation 39, so pretty much your situation, and I definitely needed that yellow Thor. She's 4/3/5 now, so I just need another red cover and she's done.

Fair enough. I exaggerated the ubiquity of it, but it's such an old 4*, most people who've finished the 3* progression have gotten the three yellow 4hor's they want. Not everybody though.

I didn't have yellow 4hor and I am now at a point where she's finally becoming viable at 3/2/3. I do have two maxed 4* though with xforce and IW, but IW doesn't count lol. She's not in any real contention with new 4*, however she might be a boost for Mr. fantastic, so there's that

you might want to look at your IW again. Post-revisions I think she be a functional support character. If you have 5 blue covers she is a great way to counter special tiles of all types. She's not top tier. But she's not useless.

If you got a max IW, I would stick her in the QS event. People will simply avoid you as if you got rabies. AI will spam her protect tiles like there is no tomorrow. She is AWESOME with QS.
