While waiting on 4* transition, who to work on next...

That's my roster as of 'right now'. When they changed the way characters leveled, I stopped trying to max people and got everyone I could to lvl 120. Then after that, the high tiers I had covers for I worked on getting to 166 (like Cyclops).

Now I'm sort of confused as to what to do. 4* covers are slow to come by for me...real life has been busy lately, so while I can get the 1k progression 75% of the time when I try for it, "I'm" not consistent enough. I don't really do PvE, been trying to do it more lately, but it still is a borefest where I will never rank high enough to win anything of value (just more 3* covers). So I'm not worried about 'saving up' for 4* I typically amass enough ISO trying to win them, to get the levels the covers unlock.

So do I A) keep pouring ISO into XFW (he'd been around 170 for the past 6+ months), even though I'll scale myself completely out of PvE. B) Pretend Susan is worth a damn (or Devil Dino) and pour money into them? I've been placing my 'scraps' into DD to slowly level him, and after watching how 'good' IW is at higher levels, I decided to not waste ISO on it. Do I C) keep leveling up my 3*s? And if I do, do I C1) Focus on maxingg certain ones or C2) level them all up at the same time (why so many are lvl 121).

    I'm behind you roster-wise (so take it fwiw), but I like to get the more useful characters to 140. that gets them to 200 when weekly buffed and 245 when featured. you're close on several that I consider useful enough to take there (torch, gsbw, grocket). obviously max cage and kk when those come in. after that, someone else will have to comment about leveling 4*s and pve scaling. I'm curious there too but a bit further away from that actually being an issue.

    No, poor return on investment. Focusing on one character might be worth it, if it was IMHB.

    I would say no, and the reason is below

    C2) level them all up at the same time (why so many are lvl 121).

    I've got no 166s, so you're already ahead of me. All my 3* are at 140 though. They get buffed to 200 in PVP, so although not as effective on offense or defense as 240s (166s), they still allow me to get 1k, and I have a deep bench. By setting the goal of getting all my 3*s to 140, I set a realistic, achievable goal that I felt a sense of accomplishment when I got it done. If my goal was get all my 3* to 166, I'd be real far away, and probably feel I haven't progressed a lot. When I was leveling my 3* up, I tended to level up the ones that were going to be boosted in PVP, that way, I'd get some return on the ISO. I did leave Loki and Vision at 120 though, for tanking purposes, and Vision for PVE purposes.

    I saw that a HT event should be coming up next so I started shoving ISO in his mouth, got him to 140 last night. I'll go the 140 route, its similar to the 120 ideal so I can 'dig it'. Thanks.

    I think the next event is Mr. Fantastic. New 4*s always get a debut event.

    Of course I did haha, I put like 15 levels on HT in the past couple of days hahaha, he's like 150+ now.

    Doesn't seem to matter too much though, besides HT getting buffed a fair amount (like MoStorm), I'm not excited to pump ISO into Mystique, BP is already maxed, and I've just sold every Gamora cover I've gotten. It could have gone to Doom I guess, but my frequent use of IF & XFW...or sometimes Blade, make him so low on the priority order. Should have paid closer attention to the spoiler thread, I typically just look at rewards to figure who's next.
