I'm not going to be earning a Mr. Fantastic. Here's why.

I'm in a weak bracket, haven't played but only three matches in 48 hours. I could easily catch up as I'm still top 450 overall. I have a very strong 3* roster and have plenty of the boosted characters and more than enough ISO for boosts and a full compliment of team ups. I have plenty of time to fight it out. So why am I not going to make it?

I Simply. Can't. Force. Myself. To. Play. The. Hunt. Again.

I can't stomach anymore damn buffed Dark Avengers. I can't stand to fight the same stinking battles against the same stinking combos of Bullseye, Daken, Rags, Moonstone, Yelena, Venom and Ares. I get sick even thinking about it. I can't force myself to pick up the tablet and do it.


Please, devs! You are doing such a great job of introducing new content as far as characters go and the new 5* tier and all the exciting things you guys are doing to give us new ways to earn covers and I'm sure you'll have something special for us for the 2 year anniversary in a few weeks! Please give us new events, new and better villains to fight and retire or at least shelf some of these awful, dreadful, horrible events you keep recycling for us in PvE land. Thanks, looking forward to earning my Reed from PvP,

i think many would of skip this if they knew the hulk will need 4thor. I mean its going to be weeks or even months before you will need Reed for the 4 star ess needed node and with the 4 star packs being given out like candy if you score 1300 per pvp you should pull one before he is needed in the next pve

I know if i knew if Reed was not going to be a required person in the PVE i doubt i play (and dont say its needed in gaunlet cause many dont play it)

His Black ability is the only interesting one he's got. I put in the two grinds necessary to win a weak bracket, but he certainly isn't going to get me to buy covers or do the big ISO dump necessary to make him useful.

I was in the process of getting top 10 for Mr fantastic til I saw the announcement for 5*. That was it! as far I was concerned

Not only the rehash of events, new 5* star pretty much put the nail in the coffin for the game for me. They've been too heavily focused on new characters rather than addressing issues with the PvE game.

I don't play verses events, but that has its own issues. Within PvE events, personal scaling issues still annoy me. The use of protect tiles actually hurt you in the long run causing your scaling to go through the roof if you have maxed out 3 stars never mind 4 stars. Thus when you fight 1 star enemies reach their player peak at lvl 40 or 50, when they are level 130+ nevermind 200 or 395, they can and will pretty much destroy your team if you happen on an unfavorable board. Coupled with goon feeders, its guaranteed health pack usage. These issues have remained for over a year and I have not seen the devs take any real steps to address this issue beyond removing the stupid community scaling.

If you want to avoid insane personal scaling in PvE events you have to deliberately play games bad or sub-optimally! Where is the logic in that? Then you got the difference in difficulty between rosters, hard difficulty for a 2 star roster is no where close to hard difficulty for a 3 star roster, not even by a country mile. I dread to think what it's like a for a maxed 4 star roster! And then banding has the joy of banding age old rosters with a freshly new player, how is that fair on everyone within that bracket?

Although counter balancing characters have been introduced, characters like daken and 2 star bullseye can very quickly get out of hand once they are scaled/buffed beyond their level norms (94).

Then there is the whole thing with scaling based off your highest level character after buffed, this can if in the case of your highest level character being significantly higher than the rest of your roster actually hinder you in PvE. So if a non maxed 4 star roster player just happened to get a 5* which starts out at 255, will utterly mess up anyone who does not have several 4 stars at 250+ in terms of scaling. To emphasize the problem, look a new a player with a couple of 1 stars and maybe some undeveloped 2 stars at around say lvl 15, immediately pve scaling has messed them up big time because the event will be scaled of a lv 250 not lvl 15. Good luck with that!

Months ago I had allience members real happy to pulled a 4 star within days of starting, I told them it was a mixed blessing getting a 4 star so early in their MPQ career if you will because the rest of their roster is no where close to lvl 70. They didn't get what I ment til they tried a PvE event and saw exactly what I was getting at. This was rather demoralizing for them.

For me I just had enough of them not fixing long term issues and just releasing new characters. Like I said the 5* announcement was the final nail in the coffin for me. If they had addressed some of the PvE issue first before announcing 5* silver surfer I might have given them more time but frankly my patience has been tested for too long.

Uninstalling the game proved to be the best move I made in relation to this game. The only downer is letting the alliance i had led for over the past year know I was quitting. Otherwise I have no regrets over leaving this game.
