"We’re not currently working on new 3-stars. With 40 of them already in the game, it’s extremely hard to release a new one that’s distinct from what’s there already, powerful enough to be useful, and not so powerful that it takes the place of an existing 3-star. But we did just recently find room for a new 1-star Spider-Man, and anything could happen down the road".

    I'm confused. They did not release any new 3*s? They created a new tier of power so they create more powerful and unique characters without making existing characters obsolete within their current tiers.

    There's a lot to argue about 5*s, but they didn't say anything deceitful here.

    They don't want to release new 3*'s - I get it, whales won't buy them, everyone has easy access to them, yada yada.

    How about FIXING some of the ones that are out there, to make them a little playable? I'm thinking of a fella in a metal suit that is currently being run in a PVP, but there are several others.

    Well I'm not worried if they don't release new 3*'s. I got plenty of them, just no ISO to level them up, would prefer they address that then another new 3*. Also fixing/balance what they have should be important too.

    Completely agreed. Now that the 3-star pool is "locked down", seems like the perfect opportunity to balance it out. The discrepancy is too high right now.

    I can see a 3* between the next 6 releases, just not what they are working with now. This month we will have surfer, next month a new 5* and between them a new pve->pvp release of a 4*, then another one or two 4*s till end of November.

    They not working on it NOW doesn't means they aren't in the plans for the near future, just that it's not a priority at the moment. I don't know how much time it takes to code a character from the scratch but I can see a new one soon™.
