Is this Puzzle Quest?

I (and many people I know) were very excited to see Puzzle Quest presented in a new venue, at least at first, and of course many fans of Marvel bounced around in joy... I understand that you present a game, especially a free to play one, on the assumption that people will buy the extra content. This is an understandable and honorable concept, but now you have taken what I read on this board to call "cheating" (level 40ish, the knowledge of the game and a few good boosts) and made it "pay to play." If I had money to buy the GOOD boosts, (meaning the ones that actually are worth using) I could still compete. Compete? I am sure some of those level 90's I beat got annoyed. But everyone seems to forget the game part of this, and I am really good at the game part of this. It is 10 thousand times more important than money thrown at toons. But I am sure that the other side thinks all my hard work and time of playing the game is not nearly as important as their investment of MONEY. So call me a cheater. I'm a gamer.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say. People using boosts are cheating?
    • Not at all. Why did they make it so that I have to basically pay real money to use boosts?
    • In 4 weeks I have saved 375 hero points. They now want me to spend them for boosts. So anyone with an open pocketbook to buy hero points wins. Q.E.D.
    • The Devs posted about this in viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3180
    • That's their choice, but what the devs have seen is that more people are learning to play without boosts and the game is getting more dynamic. You might take a hit to your ego because you can't beat the high levels you used to be able to, but this doesn't make the game any less playable. And you never go into a battle where the other team has an advantage. If they needed boosts to beat you, you should be able to kill them without boosts. Matches are now longer, too. So what was Click on Ability Quest is now Puzzle Quest again. So in answer to your question: Yes.
