Upgrading iPhone - Is keeping my account really that simple

So, this may be covered by someone else in a previous thread somewhere on here but I didn't see it so I'm going to ask: Is it really as simple as importing my last backup from my previous iPhone on iTunes to my new iPhone --> loading the game --> then connecting to Facebook? I'm just guessing at the process but if anyone has already done this then please let me know how it worked out. Thanks!

I haven't done this on iPhone, but on Android I just downloaded the game, immediately connected to Facebook, and everything worked.

As mischiefmaker stated in his response, the process is fairly simple. But please note that, if you do encounter a problem during the transfer or feel your progress may have been lost, customer support may be able to help you retrieve that data. Just keep track of your PvP name, as well as your player ID # for your new device (can be found be clicking on the envelope in the top right-hand corner of the Title Screen).
