    Certainly. 700 players right now. Bracket leader is Seikami with 28634 points, #10 has 22877 points.

    I think some people will get mixed up with both the 3 and the 5 there, but yes, this slice 5 has just hit 1000.

    Slice 3 is up to 816 players. I wouldn't hold my breath on this filling before the event ends.

    I don't think too many ppl perusing a bracket thread at this stage in a PvE will have any problem understanding what Slice 5 Shard 3 means, unless they were previously misled through improper usage. icon_e_wink.gif

    In case anyone reading is looking for clarification, Slice 5 is the fifth ending time, and Shard 3 is the third bracket or iteration of that time slice. I mentioned it more for historical purposes as many vets like to know how many times the slice filled during an event, and this saves then from having to review the whole thread to find out.

    Fair enough and interesting point. I have seen all these terms used interchangably before (shard, slice, ending time, selected ending time, ET, SET, group, bracket, etc.), though never together, so your clarification was useful.

    It also can't be ruled out that there may have been additional lots of 1000s, such as non-vets or simply not reported.

    Slice 2 has 778 players with 9 hours left in the event. It would take a miracle for this to fill.

    On the topic of counting the shards, I don't think those who sign up in advance bother to post at all if their bracket is already full when the event starts, so there are probably mor shards out there. That won't affect the late starters though.
