New PvE, same old rubbish.
Yep, here we go again.
Level 141/142/141 Daken, Yelena and Dark Hawkeye easily defeat 260/260/150 cyclops, magneto and boosted thor. ****.
I mean, cyclops has 13,000 hit points, and they all went before he got off a special move.
Wait. This is EXACTLY the same post I made a few days ago, but in a different PvE. Surely a team that low in level should not win (on easy mode) quite so easily?

As great as your team looks, you have to remember how cheap the Dark Avengers are. Who are you targeting first? Bullseyes Shields negate all your tile damage, Daken is healing alot per turn and his cheap blue will kill you fast with all the strike tiles plus your likely leaving Yelena last which she loves to steal your AP right before u make a move.
I completely agree with you that you should win but youre likely better off bringing a someone who can counter the special tiles such as Moonstone (whose buffed) or Loki, or at least bring some TUs. Captain Marvel works well with Cyc, she can destroy all the Shields cheap and take the Daken blue hit to give Cyc some black AP to melt faces (assuming she's 5/3/5). Mix it up, sometimes Thor brute force backfires.0 -
I had to bring thor, it was an essential for this match. I'm sure you're right about the team, but it is so boring watching the same old enemies crush my team. It happened when I was lower level, and now when I'm 3* maxed and boosted. Makes me wonder why I bother. In fact, I cannot be bothered any more.0

This is actually a very easy match with a hyper-boosted CMags. His Blue skill will usually one-hit Daken, and you're also delaying the only scary attack on the whole enemy team.0

In lightning round this week, I had a match with this result after first turn:
me w/ 3 ap
AI w/ 32 ap (I counted! )
When it rains, it pours. Just suck it up and move on.0 -
I pretty much always eliminate daken first personally, yelena and bullseyes attacks are incredibly expensive.
Bullseye in particular (who I normally use) is first unless daken is around, The attack negation without loki around is a big deal, when they add up enough (or if boosted with falcon, which they luckily don't use against us) it can even make skills pathetic.
-Don't match purple unless it has one of his inside. That way you aren't constantly reducing the damage.
-bullseyes best attack creates two crit but costs 18 black. the computer also doesn't use it well (it has enormous damage potential) if you have a bunch of cheap attacks, he's worth saving for last/ the computer is also horrible at deadly precision which is a guaranteed crit when used as a player.
-Dakens Blue is TOO cheap to not get rid of him. he'll often use it the second round, attack tiles are more deadly then defense, especially when they boost his 5 blue ap attack.
-Yelena is only threatening if the opposing team gets truck loads of ap.
Having a good board is also huge,
If the board is primarily green to start? not bueno for you.
If it's mainly purple, it's workable.0 -

His blue skills damage is piss poor unless its the 5 cover version but it also takes like 4 turns.0 -
Got my butt handed to me by that team too. Also by the last node with a level 200+ Bullseye and two muscles.
Anyone else think the 1* and 2* characters exist purely so they can be boosted to hell and back by the AI? I dread the day we go against a level 200 1* Spider Man.
Oh, also...Bullseye totally screwed me. There were two crits on the board and he used his black move. Now...it says it does 13,000 damage if there are 4 or more crits on the board...so why does it lay the crits first and THEN decide if there are enough tiles on the board? Took 2* Thor out in one hit.0 -

It deals the bonus damage and then makes the matches.
If used right it results in at least 1 more crit after all is said and done and a good 5K-6K on match damage alone from a level 94 bullseye.
Bulleyes thing is crits and defense, it's so expensive that denying them black matches (op used cyclops) is enough that it's never a fear.0 -
As frustrating as those AI cascades are, I really enjoy still winning after all that. Had one yesterday where I had LDaken as last man standing with about 160 health and there were only 4 blue tiles on the board. I managed to kill She-hulk with an unlikely cascade of my own. Very satisfying.0

I'm assuming that when he says his Mags level is 260, he's talking 3* and not 2*.
So yes, Blue.0 -

People seem to always forget the AI has 5/5/5 versions of all the characters in the game, and a lot of mediocre characters will be in the powerhouse tier (relative to a 13 cover hero) if they're allowed to be 5/5/5, and the AI even has some pretty good characters in general.
Actually, I bet a lot of the complaints for PvE would be solved if the AI no longer has access to 5/5/5 characters. It's just very common to get into a situation against say 3* Thor, see that they got 8 red and tell yourself 'no problem, Thor's red is weak' and then end up taking way too much damage because their red is level 5 while yours is almost surely level 3.0
