Specific Character Tournys

First of all, good afternoon to everyone (always nice to start the day poilte, biatchs)

Secondly, with these character tornys there is one thing i dont understand and maybe someone can help me. The new Wolverine and the Black Widow tourny a few weeks back for example, you needed each one of the character variants if you wanted to play all 3 rounds. I dont have 4* Wolvie so can enter only two BUT yet i have seen so many people without Patch and the other Wolvie's able to enter these matchs without the required character,same goes for the BW tourny.

How is this possible?

    They are entered through the other nodes of the tournament interface. It's all the same MMR pool no matter what node you yourself select.

    I think the problem you are seeing is this:
    There are three possible "Nodes" in the Best There Is tournament, and for you to play on a Node, you need the required character. HOWEVER, the teams you fight against on a Node are selected for you based off of your MMR ranking, and are placed without any regard for which of the Wolverines the other team is using. So if I play the tournament and use Xforce, and you are in my MMR pool, my team will appear at one of your nodes randomly, and might be placed on the Patch or Astonishing Wolverine Nodes.

    If you enter the tournament as a whole, your team may pop up as an opposing team for other players in any of the three sections of the tournament, whether it fills that area's entry conditions or not.
